Mari smiled lightly to him after a moment, and went to press a kiss to his lips again, lingering for a moment before sort of flopping down on him lightly. "I might be using you for this wonderful house of yours," she mused lightly, clearly just joking about a little. She then sat up after a moment or two before going to sort of run her hands up his chest playfully. "For this wonderful bed too," she mused lightly before pecking his nose lightly.

He hummed happily in response to her kiss and then chuckled slightly in response to her comment. "Welll, I can't say I'm not happy you're here," he teased gently...though, of course it was true. He loved having the girl here with him, more than anything else. He really did need her. And so did the kids. He hummed as if in thought to her next comment, giving her a mischevious grin. "For the bed or me in the bed," he teased her lightly, knowing she quite enjoyed their more intimate moments as much as he did. Besides...if she was going to tease, then he was going to do it right back.

Mari sighed slightly and sort of moved to press another kiss to his nose. She was happy to be somewhere... safe. Here, with him. It had felt like forever since she'd just been comfortable with all of this. She sort of huffed out a breath before rolling her eyes at his comment. "Maybe it's just the bed. And you can't prove anything other than that," she mused lightly to him. Of course, she just enjoyed everything about the place... and him, if she was honest.

Sage simply chuckled in response to her comment, just grinning up at her happily. "Maybe, maybe not," he mused lightly with a sort of shrug before just tightening his grip around her slightly and letting out a content huff of air. He was still sort of tired, of course, but it was nice to wake to the girl being more herself again. He'd been worried about her....ye could admit that. She just hadn't been herself. So it was good that she'd had some time to just get some rest and relax a bit....it seemed to have done her a decent bit of good. Which made him much more relaxed too. So, he was just glad to be here with such an amazing person.

Mari smiled lightly to the boy, a small hum escaping her when he tightened his grip on her tightened, and sort of settled down after a little bit. She smiled gently to him after a moment or two before sort of moving to curl up. She was still a bit playful, but it was nice just to settle down after a moment or two. She smiled lightly to him before sighing and burying her nose into his neck. She sort of smiled to him before going to press a small kiss to his neck. She sort of sighed and moved to pat his arm. "I made you crepes,". She eventually sighed. "They'll be all cold now," she hummed after a moment or two.

Sage was more than happy to just lay around, though when she mentioned the food he chuckled and patted her back, giving her a sheepish smile. "I forgot about that," he admitted with a slight laugh. He moved to sit up a bit more and reach for the tray that was still sitting on the table next to the bed. "They'll still atst good," he mused with a shrug. "I think it's physically impossible for you to make something that tastes bad," he chuckled, tone a very fond one.

Mari smiled to him and sort of rolled to the side to let him up. She sort of grinned at him, giving a thankful hum. "It's prettt hard to mess crepes up," she chuckled softly to him before shaking her head. Still, she was glad he liked it... that what she made him still hadn't gotten too old yet. She smiled lightly and sort of moved to press a few lightly pecks to his cheek. "There's some on the table for the kids too so we don't have be get too bothered," she mused to him gently.

Sage chuckled in repsonse to her comment and glanced over at her. "Still, you cook all sorts of stuff and you haven't messed up anything yet," he mused. "And I doubt it'll ever actually happen," he thought out loud, notably amused at his thoughts. He grinned over at her in response to her comment, humming happily when she pecked his cheeks. "Good....it was nice to sleep in for a bit," he admitted with a chuckle. "Or....a lot," he noted, with another quick glance at the clock. It was rather late by then, after All.

Mari chuckled softly to him after a moment before shrugging. "Well, you know, there's a first time for everything, right?" She chuckled lightly before shrugging. She nodded I agreement. It was kinda nice to settle down for a little while. Relax, she supposed. They hadn't really done that in... well, a very long time. She sighed before moving to press a few light kisses to his neck. "You need to go see the horses at some point, though," she mused gently to the boy.

He chuckled slightly and shrugged. "Yeah, exept for that," he mused in a rather amused tone. Then he groaned and nodded when she mentioned the horses. "Do I have to," he half whined, sort of flopping over onto her a bit when he felt her lips on his neck again, tilting his head slightly really just for the fun of it all. Tease her a bit. "I think I'm quite enjoying the attention," he giggled. "You owe me a week's worth of affection," he teased the girl lightly. He'd get out to the barn in a bit...he liked working with the horses, so really it wasn't a chore. But he was enjoying the time they had, and it wouldn't come often...so he figured the horses could wait for a bit.
