Ethan began crying and Dakota sighed, getting off of Elijah and getting dressed. She went over and picked up Ethan, exhausted. "Hey, it's alright." She murmured, sitting on the bed with Ethan in her arms

Elijah got dressed himself. He wraps his arms around her. "I can take him if you want to rest" he offers

"That's alright. I'm ready for bed anyways." She said quietly, scooting up farther on the bed and curling up with Ethan in front of her, reaching for her

Elijah nods, curling an arm around her and Ethan, closing his eyes

Dakota waited until Ethan was asleep before closing her eyes and falling asleep. She woke up the next mroning to Ethan crying. "Okay, you're fine." She muttered sleepily, getting up and scooping up her son. She walked to the door and put on her boots, going out to feed the horses

Elijah woke up with a yawn. He noticed his wife and son weren't there, the bed cold. That meant they hadn't been there for some time. He rose from the bed and decided to go search for them, Kingston hot on his heels

Dakota poured the horses' grain into their bins before taking off the blanket from all 3 horses. She filled the hay racks and went to brush out Secret's mane with Ethan's 'help'.

Elijah smiles, spotting his wife with his son. "Hey, Babe, wanna go to the tack store later? We can bring Ethan too. Just need some tack for Toby, the ones his old owner gave aren't in that great of a condition" he says

"Sure." She agreed easily, putting the brushes away and locking Secret's stall

Elijah nods, "Wanna go now, if you're ready?" he asks
