Regan looked about the small cabin, lose for what to do. She didn't want to just sit. She had too much going through her head to just sit. She looked over at Tyler, who seemed on edge, but she didn't need to mention that... she had a feeling he wouldn't like it. -He doesn't like a lot of things- the girl thought before rolling her eyes to herself. It was an amusing thought, really, but a true one all the same. He didn't like nicknames, or a lot of her jokes, or the little prods she gave him. She did think that was understandable, though. She could be a bit much at times. And, she didn't want him to be uncomfortable, so she knew not to do those things. Her brain then drifted to what they'd do next. Where they'd go. They couldn't just stay here forever, now could they? Perhaps they'd get another signal of sorts. She looked back over to Tyler before rolling her eyes. "Tyler, hun, come sit down," she told him in a way she might as though she was talking to a young child. "I'll bet you're exhusted, all we've done is been on the move... you can sit down now," she added quietly. Edited at May 27, 2023 05:20 PM by Belle

Tyler tore his mind away from all those thoughts, forcing his hands to stay still. He turned his broad shoulders back and sat on the bed with a slight huff, looking at the floor. "I'm going to take a little walk, I promise I'll be back within the hour, and then I will take a nap like you suggested." Tyler finally announced quietly, standing back up before exiting the cabin. He was going to be back quickly, mostly because he wasn't going far. Tyler turned towards the forest and quickly disappeared, keeping track of the time. He walked as far as he could go before putting a marker, then started the walk back within 30 minutes.

Regan frowned a little bit at him when he announced his walk, but nodded sheepishly anyway. That was fine... she didn't mind too much. She could just sort everything out while he was gone. "Oh, alright... well, be safe," she chirped to him in the most up beat tone she could manage. She did wish he'd just stay about... but at the same time, she couldn't make him do anything. She could just touch up the cottage a bit while he was out. She made the bed, put some nice smelling candles out and cleaned up a little bit... Make it seem just a little bit more homerely for the two of them. She found an old projector her brother had left there one summer, and soon enough found herself watching old movies on in... she had nothing better to do from now on.

Tyler got back to the cabin within an hour, like he had said he would. He walked inside to see Regan watching the projector. Tyler nodded in greeting and remembered what he had said... ah yes, he had to rest now. Otherwise Regan would probably get annoyed. He walked over to the bed and sat down yet again, though this time he was thinking of what to do that afternoon. "Any plans?" Tyler asked, mostly because he had plans and wanted to see if Regan had made any that were more important

Regan sat for a little while... she had nothing to do. They had food, and it wasn't like she had a job to do now. She didn't have to hunt or clean or cook for anybody... it was just the two of them now. She looked over at the man when he wandered in, and gave a bit of a smile. She got up and turned the thing off before packing it away again... well, at least it worked. It was all she had left of her siblings now, and she had no intention to lose it. She shook her head at his question. "Yes, I have a very important meeting at twelve and plane flight at four," she teased him before giving a small smile. "Why, what's up?"

Tyler cracked a smile, chuckling. "Well I was mapping out the forest in this hour that I was gone, and I plan to do more tomorrow." He answered quietly, the smile still on his face. -What Regan said sounded exactly like something I would say- Tyler thought, glancing over at her. He wasn't exactly telling the full truth... well he was, he just wasn't saying why he was mapping out the forest. Tyler knew Regan wanted someone better then him to talk to, so he was going to go walking a little bit every day and find someone. There had to be 1 person within 10 miles of here, at least. Right?

Regan cocked her head a little at him before shrugging. Alright... fine. She wasn't sure what he wa around that for, she could have come with him, but it just kind of seemed like he was wanting to be alone. She hoped that it wasn't because he didn't want to be around her... she wanted him to be here. "I could have come for that," she told him with furrowed brows. She glanced around the room a little bit, a sigh escaping her. Whelp, at least she'd managed to clear up s bit. The placed seemed a little bit more... homely now. It was really quite nice. "Oh, I found an old camp bed too, so at least I'll get to lay down now," she told him with a bit of s chuckle.

Tyler winced as he saw Regan's expression and heard her words. "I'm sorry, you're right. I should have asked. Would you like to come with me tomorrow?" He asked hopefully, quirking an eyebrow. Tyler fell silent as Regan spoke again, cocking his head slightly as he listened. "Okay, good. The thing is, though... is you found another bed why don't you just take the nicer one? A slight difference like that won't change how much I heal." He said slowly, wondering if Regan would get annoyed that he even suggested it.

Regan shook her head at him before giving half of a chuckle. "It's okay, it was just saying I would have come with you. I do want to look after we you, Tyler. If something had happened to you, I wouldn't have know and I'd be left waiting for you forever," she told him with a soft sigh. She didn't want to make him feel bad or anything... she just needed to point it out to him. She didn't want him to constantly worry about her. He didn't need that. She looked at him a little bit funny at his question, though. "Well, because I'm not trying to heal, and you, Tyler, are."

Tyler nodded, taking the point into consideration. -There's no way I would just die on her... that would be rude- Tyler thought with all the dignity he could muster at this point, which wasn't much. When Regan looked at him funny Tyler blew out a breath. -Knew it- He thought again. "I really don't care, so if you want the bed now... oh nevermind." Tyler gave up rather quickly. "This is not going to be a every night thing, because no matter what surface you sleep on it doesn't affect your lungs." He huffed, looking at the floor
