Sage cocked his head slightly and then snorted. "You underestimate my sass," he informed the girl. He listened to what Sahara had said before humming lightly and wrinkling his nose slightly. "That's bold, considering we're humans and she's an animal," he chuckled. "Horses aren't exactly known to she the smartest animals ever," he said with a bit of amusement. He could definitely be sassy right back to the mare. "Maybe she lost them from your bad insults," he chirped at Sahara, of course not meaning any harm from the comments.

Sahara snorted. Quinn looked back and forth in between Sage and Sahara. "She says you don't even have enough brain cells to know she has hooves..." Quinn giggled... though she did decide she wasn't taking a side. This was a war she didn't want to be in. Sahara tossed her mane, looking at Sage and obviously waiting for a comeback.

Sage snorted at Sahara's comment and crossed his arms. "A hoof is literally a huge, dirty toenail," he chuckled. "One that we have to clean because you can't due to the fact that if you tried you'd fall over on your face," he declared, eyes glittering as he waited for a response. He had to admit....this was fun.

Sahara looked at Sage and nickered, almost a laugh. "Sahara says she doesn't see you running 45 mph." Quinn chuckled. "She also says she doesn't have to reach down and clean it... Sahara asks if you know what a stream is." Quinn snickered, trying to keep a straight face. Translating for Sahara was hilarious.

Sage wrinkled his nose slightly at Sahara's come back. She was good at this...but so was he, and that was what was making this so fun. "Maybe not, but I don't see you climbing trees or swinging from vines or climbing up a mountain or having fun," he huffed right back. Then he rolled his eyes. "Do you know what a brain is? Because we're currently by a river."

Sahara threw her head up in a little rear, snorting. "She says that why would she need to do that... she also says she has fun anyway. Sahara says Shen CAN climb up mountains, and she is much stronger than you so she just pushes stuff out of the way that your puny Little body can't get through. She also says that she wasn't referring to this river... she was referring to streams in general. Her last comment... you look weird... reading all the time. Why can't you walk on all fours like a normal animal?" Quinn rolled her eyes... this was getting complicated. She stifled a laugh and glanced at Sage.

Sage hummed lightly and shrugged. "I forgot that you don't have to climb a tree to see y'all things, because you have a very off shaped head and neck," he told the horse. "And most bodies of water around here aren't streams," he informed her. "They're rivers or lakes." Then he rolled his eyes at her last comment. "I do go on all fours, when I need to get somewhere fast or be more athletic," he snorted. "But I also have the ability to walk on two legs, which requires balance you obviously don't have. Maybe it goes back to that odd head of yours," he mused. The mare knew none of these were actual insults....they were just having some fun. He decided to ignore her comment about him being weak, since his only solution was to challenge the horse to some kind of competition, that's he'd probably lose.

Sahara tossed her mane. "Sahara says that her very 'off' head and neck he,l her see a long ways, as she said. She can also see 180 degrees in all directions, and she don't see you doing that. Sahara can bend her neck more than you, and her neck is very strong. She says your face looks weirder... hers Is like all the other animals. Yours is squashed flat. Your nose is so small you can't smell a cougar from a foot away, and your ears are so small you couldn't hear a wolf sneaking up on you from five feet away. She says her four legs are more normal than your two, because the only animals that always walk on two legs are birds... and you obviously can't fly. Sahara also taunted you about laying eggs if you were so much like a bird. She asks where your feathers went." Quinn attempted to keep straight face. "You two..." she laughed

Sage shrugged lightly and gave the mare a wide grin in response to her comments. "Well, I can see far enough," he chirped. "Because both wolves and humans have better eyesight than horses!" He snorted at her next comment and waved her comments about his face away. "Oh please. You look disproportionate, a big huge body on stick legs," he informed her. "Your head is bigger than your legs....I'd say thats more odd looking than a people face," he chirped. Then he chuckled lightly and gave the horse a look. "Fun fact: I'm a guy. Which means I don't have eggs. That's your and Quinn's job," he laughed. He grinned up at Quinn, finding her amusement...well, amusing.

"Sahara says 'far enough' won't help in some situations. S can run much faster than you and Shen is much stronger than you, with her huge muscled body and streamlined legs. Almost all animals heads are bigger than their legs... including wolves, deer, moose, and many others she can name. Sahara also says you should learn that mammals don't lay eggs... and she was joking about you laying eggs because you look like a bird, standing on two legs." Quinn kept her mouth shut, as she wanted to have a comeback to Sage's last comment. Finally she couldn't take it anymore. "Well you'd better appreciate us women having eggs inside us... otherwise you wouldn't exist." Quinn snorted
