He nodded, wincing slightly as he answered. "Yes, when I was on duty to guard Nate, he went to the woods and of course, being assigned to him I followed, and he showed me a house nobody lived in and nobody knew of, said I could go there if I ever needed to."

Sage nodded with a grunt. "That would be good, once you're healed," he noted. "Until then, you're going to need somewhere for someone to keep an eye on you," he noted, glancing over at elara. He didn't mind if Dorian stayed with them for a bit while he healed, but that would be up to her.

Elara nodded at his words, explaining she knew a few camps guards did't know of, there for leaving them unraided and safe for him to go to. "We'll get you there and they'll take care of you, i've got allies everywhere, you're safe."

|
Sage nodded at her explanation of the camps, figuring they'd have medical care if there were multiple families living there. "Let's get out of here before the guards notice anything wrong," he murmured, moving to help the other man to his feet, supporting his weight beat he could, though he was pretty well dwarfed by him.

Elara nodded, sweet talking numerous other guards to get through, eventually being home free. "C'mon, it's this way." She said, waving them towards a deer trail in the woods, eventually coming out to a clearing where tents were lined up.

Sage just followed elaras directions, slowly helping the other man down the trail and settling him down on the bed they were able to find for him. He was pretty well exhausted by then, but was getting anxious. Liz was still at their own cabin alone, after all.

Elara got Dorian medical help, the medics surrounding him as they started tending to his wounds. She turned back to Sage, walking out. "We better get back, make sure Liz is alright." She explained, starting to walk back before one of Dorian's screams echoed through the air, stopping her in her tracks.

Sage had nodded when elara came back through to him, moving to walk quickly in the direction on the cabin. When she stopped though, he peered back at her, frowning slightly. He knew they were medics but....he shouldn't be in that much pain. Right?

|
"He'll be fine. . . right? Did it hurt that bad when it happened to you?" She asked, flicking her worried gaze back to Sage.

|
Sage winced softly when his own experience was brought back up. "I...yeah, but I was a street kid," he reminded her gently. "I didn't....I was just laying in an alley for a while, I don't know what they do." He met her gaze just as concerned. "I would think they'd give him something for the pain...that's what a whip is known for," he murmured.
