Sage had learned a lot over the next couple of hours....but not in the way that they'd been hoping for. When Celeste stopped and gave the last few books a look that could kill, he humemd softly and shook his head. "Why don't we take a break and get some lunch," he suggested, eyeing her warily.

Celeste Harlow-Acker - Celeste nodded and put the book down. "Yeah, that sounds good," she agreed, hungry as well.
Sage nodded and made sure Liz was settled in her spot before moving to the kitchen. They could cook with her out of the way for now.

Celeste Harlow-Acker - Celeste got up too, desperate to do something with her hands other than turn pages. "What do you wanna eat?" she asked, opening the fridge and looking around for something to eat or cook.

Sage hummed softly and then grunted. "I want a piece of the bear," he noted with a soft chuckle. Bear meat really was delicious... especially since he often liked the challenge of fighting wolf vs bear and taking the large prize. Of course, Celeste had gotten this one, but it would taste just as good.

Celeste Harlow-Acker - Celeste looked around the fridge, but couldn't find any more of the bear meat. "I think we've eaten all of the bear meat..." she said, disappointed. "The rest is in the deep freeze for winter... are you okay with rabbit or deer?"
Sage hummed and nodded in response to her comment, peering over her shoulder into the fridge. "We haven't had rabbit in a while," he chirped in agreement.

Celeste Harlow-Acker - Celeste nodded and took out the tub of rabbit meat. "How do you wanna cook it?"
Sage hummed in thought before shrugging. "I honestly don't care," he admitted with a chuckle. "However you want."
| |
Celeste Harlow-Acker - Celeste thought for a moment. "Well, I could fry it, I could grill it, I could make a stew, I could make sandwiches, I could make rabbit meatballs...." she listed their options to Sage.
