Regan nodded to him before shaking her head, a soft sigh escaped her as she settled on the chair. Millie curled up next to Raptor, considering the two were near to best friends now. Well, as bestfriendy as dogs can be. She smiled from the two animals to Tyler with a bit of a chuckle. "Me too... I just can't wait to relax," she mused happily to him with a bit of a little hum. She wasn't used to feeling so... relaxed now. It was a bed feeling, for sure. She'd been so tense for the last two days... being able to relax was nice. "You breathing okay?" She asked to him with a bit of a hum.

Tyler nodded at Regan's words, blowing out a breath from his nose. "Yep. It's fine." He answered, not very reassuring... but he didn't lie. Tyler was feeling fine now, just staring at the ceiling. He finally sat forward in the chair and placed his elbows on his legs, watching the dogs. "They look... tired and happy." Tyler commented with a bit of a smile, glancing around the cabin again

Regan looked behind her to look at the dogs with a smile. "They're friends," she chuckled lightly to the boy before looking over to him with a bit of a hum. "But they have also been walking for hours on end, you know. There's nothing up with that," she then added to him on amusement. "They deserve to rest for a little bit. She curled her lip up at him before going to get him some water. "You sure?" She asked quietly. "I did notice you breathing funny. Have you not gotten any better?" She asked with a slightly concerned frown.

Tyler nodded. "Yes, they do deserve a break." He confirmed quietly, relaxing a little in the chair. Tyler tipped his head as Regan got up, sighing slightly. "I knew you wouldn't believe me." He commented wryly. "Yes I'm sure, and I have gotten better. Just not completely better." Tyler finished slowly, wondering how Regan even noticed that. -I bet I wouldn't notice if she dyed her hair pink, and she notices when I'm breathing funny?- He thought in amusement

Regan let the water run for a moment, as it came out a little bit... funny, but soon enough was clear enough to fill a glass with. "Well, it's hard to. I refused to believe sleeping in a tree had done your injuries any good," she told him with a bit of a huff. She did want him to get better... if he got any more injured now, she wasn't sure if he'd get any better now. She handed him the glass with a bit of a hum. "It's hard to believe you when all I can hear is you breathing," she told him with s bit of a chuckle. "You should be all healed by now though," she told him with a soft sigh. "I can't help you much more than this," she sighed.

"Well sleeping in a tree probably saved us from rabid animals a countless number of times." Tyler retorted, though he didn't sound angry or annoyed. Just a little sad... and maybe worried. If his breathing stayed like this he wouldn't be able to run very far without getting out of breath. Or do anything. He would just have to battle through it. "If all you can hear is my breathing you have a hearing problem." Tyler said wryly, though he accepted the glass with a nod of thanks. "If I'm a little hard on breath it doesn't matter. That doesn't affect anything else all that much." Tyler said soothingly, yet he tipped his head at Regan's last comment. "Then don't. Let my body do what it's supposed to do without any help... heal itself." Tyler offered, then took a sip of water

Regan rolled her eyes at him. "Well, perhaps a real bed will do you some good. Assuming you will actually take it?" She asked him with a bit of a huff. She wouldn't have minded, if that would be a part of the issue. She smiled to him towards him when he thanked her for the glass, and nodded a gesture of fineness. She then furrowed her brows at him. "You know what I meant Ty-," she paused for a moment before huffing out, "ler," hesitantly. She soon shook her head at him. "I just want you to be healthy... it's not like we're in the middle of an apocalypse or anything," she told him with a soft sigh. "So excuse me for being a bit worried." She then added quickly.

Tyler dropped a little, knowing his stubborn mind was trying to take over again. "Yeah, I'll take it." He said a bit wearily, knowing Regan was probably much more tired than he was.... but if she insisted he take the bed, he would. -Regan huffs a lot- The stray thought strutted through his mind, making Tyler almost confused on how he could change subjects so quickly. -Rabbit trail squrriel brain- He thought with a small wry smile, focusing his attention on Regan. "I know, and I will. I am sorry for being like this... I just know my body will heal in time and I don't want your brain wearing itself out by worrying in the process." Tyler let out a breath, seemingly staring into thin air. His gaze slowly focused as he glanced at Regan. "If you would forgive me for being like this... I really would be grateful." Tyler seemed like he was going to say something else but he cut it short at that

Regan looked a bit more... relaxed when he accepted her offer. She would have needed the rest, but she could rest in the chair for the time being. It'd be better for Tyler to be able to lay comfortably, at least for a little while. She wondered for a moment if he would ever be fine again - the way he had been when she'd first found him. She hoped to god that he would be. This whole thing had to get worse before it got better... and she knew that if he wasn't as fit as he could be, then he wouldn't last too long. And she didn't want to last for too long without him. -God, no, don't apologise- she thought, her brows furrowing as she listened to him speak. He had nothing to apologise for. "It's fine, Tyler," she told him with a friendly smile. "You'll get better when you're better, and until then I will worry for you. We're friends, I care about you and that's what I do," she told him with a bit of a chuckle. Her gaze wandered to her hands after a few moments, though. He was like... this... for a reason. She wasn't sure if it was his stubbornness he was talking about, or if he was apologising for being injured... either way, he couldn't help either of those things. So she didn't want him to be apologetic for anything this unnecessary.

Tyler gave a nod as his response, showing he had heard and understood what Regan said. He finished the water and stood, setting it back down on the counter and wandering over to the door frame to lean against it. He was too antsy to sleep at the moment, even if he was tired... so there was no point in stealing the bed yet. Tyler glanced at his hands, which were shaking slightly.. probably because of exhaustion and his thoughts. What if he didn't make it because he never really healed right? He clenched his fists and gazed outside, too stubborn to give up. He may not be fully healed now, but he would get better. Where there's a will, there's a way. That was almost Tyler's saying now as he struggled through his shorter life, step by step. As long as he never gave up... he would make it. Mostly because Tyler was way too hard-headed and stubborn to give in because his hands shook or he couldn't really breath. -Breathing just a little detail.. right?- Tyler thought with a wry smile
