Mari smiled to him before pouting. "I'm crazy for thinking you're handsome?" She asked with a bit of a huff. She eventually shook her head and reseted it back on the pillow when he pecked her lips, though a bit of a laugh escaped her after a moment when he flopped on top of her. "God, you're heavy," she mused to him before going to wrap her arms around him snugly. "You're so lucky to have me," she hummed softly to him.

Sage chuckled lightly and rolled his eyes at her tease, snickering when she mentioned that he was heavy. "No I'm not! You're just shorter than I am," he giggled. He curled up with her happily though, peering up at her happily from where his head was tucked comfortably into her chest. "I definitely am," he chirped lightly. He really didn't know what he'd do without her. Well ....he sort of did....and the answer would be that he'd be dead. A long time ago. But he really didn't want to think about that, so he just pushed it out of his head amd moved on.

Mari smiled softly tot him after a moment before moving to slip her hands around his side a bit tighter. "Being shorter doesn't make you heavy," she mused to him before giving a little smile. "It's okay, you're allowed to be a bit heavier," she mused to him. "At least you're not light enough for me to throw you, though," she joked softly to him before pecking him on the side of his cheek. "You are. Imagine how bored you'd be without me," she mused to him, kind of running her hands softly down his back and running her nails over his hips as she curled into him a bit tighter.

Sage chuckled slightly and rolled his eyes. "I'm just saying there's not as much to you so you're obviously not as heavy as me," he chuckled lightly, humming softly in response to her next comments. "You could probably have done that quite a few times when you first met me. I'm still rather surprised you never did," he noted with amusement. Then he chuckled slightly and nodded. "I'd be cooped up in the freezing ward," he hummed. "Or in the ground somewhere," he mused with a shrug. He sort of was just happy to curl up a bit tighter though, glad to spend time with her.

The girl pouted at him after a moment before giving a sigh. "I'm not complaining," she hummed to him after a moment. "To me you're heavy and that's all that matters," she teased him and patting his back softly. The girl kind of cocked her head and gave a small chuckle. "I'm not too sure what happened there, to be honest. When I met you it was all a blur, there was a lot going on and I simply couldn't find the time to ferry you around," she sighed dramatically, before sort of furrowing her brows. "Well, I'm happy you're here... I mean, you're keeping me warm so I don't have anything to complain about," she added lightly.

Sage chuckled lightly in response to her comments and shrugged, humming in agreement. Though, he rolled his eyes at her next comment. "Still, I'm not sure how I escaped being punched by you at least once," he mused. "I was quite the prick for a while," he admitted with a chuckle. He hummed lightly and pecked her nose in response to her last comment, a chuckle sort of brewing."you're wearing clothes, you don't to complain about being cold right now," he teased her lightly.

Mari hummed lightly in thought before shaking her head. "No hunny, I'm not violent," she mused to him. "But I should have punched you at least once," she mused to him. "You were so mean to me! I don't even know why," she mused softly to him. She chuckled lightly when he pecked her nose and shrugged softly. "I'm not complaining about being cold at all," she mused to him softly. "I've got the most gorgeous man ontop of me, and he is keeping me very warm," she teased softly to him. "I don't see why you'd be cold, though," she joked as she ran her hands lightly down his spine.

Sage chuckled lightly in response to her first comment, humming lightly after a moment in a kind of agreement with her second one. "I definitely think I deserved a punch or two," he admitted with a chuckle. "me either," he noted with a shrug when she said he'd been so mean. He'd supposed he'd just been hurting, and scared to get into another relationship of any kind. But that wasn't exactly an excuse for his behavior. He snorted lightly in response to her comment about him being on top of her and pecked her head with a sort of hum. "Im very warm to you," he agreed. "Seeing as you currently have me butt naked," he teased her lightly. He let out a sort of squeak when he felt her nails though, wriggling slightly. "Mari, that tickles," he whined with a sort of giggle, burying into her and under the covers as best he could

Mari smiled lightly to him and went to peck his nose. "You were hurting yourself enough, I think. You didn't need an extra bruise right then," she told him carefully before giving him a little squeeze. "It's okay, you're lovely now I suppose," she teased him softly before pecking his lips again. She sort of cackled at him before shrugging. "I wouldn't have it any other way," she teased him lightly before shaking her head. She chuckled to him and went to tickle his side playfully. "It's supposed to," she mused to him before tightening her arms around him and moving to pull the overs up and over him a bit more.

Sage sort of hummed lightly in response to her comment and shrugged. "I suppose so," he agreed. "Though a punch might have knocked some sense into me a bit sooner," he joked lightly, gasping in response to her next comment. "You suppose," he gasped in mock offense before rolling his eyes at her other comment. "Oh goody," he joked lightly. Then he sighed around slightly when she looked him again, chuckling lightly. "You're so mean to me," he huffed, though of course he didn't mind.
