The girl gave a bit of a squeak when she felt him tug her in, and gave a little bit of a small chuckle as she went to press her lips to his skin a little bit harder, eventually going to run his skin through her teeth after a little bit. She was still so careful not to touch his bruises... she didn't want to be too careful about any of this. She didn't want to scare him, though. Soon enough, things got a bit more vigorous, and it didn't take long for her to unbuckle his pants and chuck them to the side. She sort of looked at him carefully, sort of looking for some kind of okay before things got any further.

Sage had let out a kind of breathy chuckle when he heard her squeak, though it soon turned into a kind of groan when she started getting rougher with her movements. He'd closed his eyes after a certain point, shifting to give her plenty of room. Though, he opened them when he felt her move to shuffle his pants off, giving her a sort of light hum and nod, shifting to the position where he hoped she'd take it as a positive sort of thing. She seemed to get it, since she moved forward again soon enough, which he was certainly glad about. And he had to admit, that once they'd tired themselves out and curled up under the blankets, he did feel better knowing that Mari had sort of...covered up everything that had happened.

The girl eventually settled down next to him once he'd word himself out, just kind of watching him as he rested there. She was so lucky to have him, there. She didn't know what else she could want from him anymore. She was just lucky to have his presence, if she was honest. "I'm gonna go get some snacks," she hummed softly to him after a moment, pecking him on the side of his head before going to get him some nice little snacks and some tea to go with it.

Sage was more than happy to lay there for a bit, he peeked up at her when she spoke up and nodded with a sort of content hum, moving to roll over to let her get up. They'd get back into pajamas soon enough, he figured, since he'd wind up getting cold after a certain point. But for now, he sort of just rested there and waited for Mari to come back. He was a bit hungry, he supposed....so it would be nice.

Mari smiled softly to him after a moment or two when he returned, and went to chuck him a small bag of food before getting changed back into her pyjamas and sort of crawling to kind of straddle Sage before pressing another longer but slow kiss to his lips. "You alright?" She asked him softly after a moment or two, a happy lingering smile across her face. She was just kind of... happy. She enjoyed being so close to him. That he felt so safe with her made her smile, too.

Sage chuckled slightly when she chuckled him the food, and he went to pick the bag up and see what was inside. Though, by then she'd crawled back up on top of him, which earned a grin and happy hum. He nodded in response to her comment, patting her leg lightly."yeah," he hummed happily. "Thanks," he added softly after a moment. He didn't expect her to understand why he'd wanted it all....but she went along with it happily and willingly, and he couldn't be happier with everything, really.

Mari smiled softly to him after a moment and went to peck his nose again. She pouted at him after a moment before giving a small chuckle. "No need to thank me," she teased softly to him after a little bit, then gave a small chuckle. "I just..." she trailed off after a moment or two before shrugging and going to run her hands softly over his shoulders with a bit of a chuckle. "I just want you to be happy," she eventually sighed before moving to sit back a bit, opening up another baggie of food from where she was perched above him.

Sage chuckled slightly at her comment and shrugged. "I know," he hummed, patting her legs gently again and then moving to grab his baggie of food again when she moved to open hers. "And you know I am happy when I'm with you and the kids," he added after a moment, sort of peering onto the bag and then picking out some bits to toss in his mouth happily. It wasn't even noon yet, and already they'd had such a good time. Their anniversary would have to be even better.... hopefully he could pull it off.

Mari smiled softly to him, giving a bit of a nod before sort of flopping backwards, slipping her legs out from underneath her and sort of resting her feet on his stomach playfully as she layed back on the bed. "I know you're happy with the kids," she chuckled softly to him. "I mean I want you to be comfortable," she added to him, sort of giving a bit of a hum as she ran her nails softly up his calf as she layed between his legs.

Sage chuckled lightly in response to her comment, reaching over to pat her feet, since they were really the only part of her he could reach. "Well I'd better be comfortable here, because it's too cold with dad and your mom would have me doing chores all day long," he joked lightly. He was comfortable...and she knew that. He might have bad days here and there....but they weren't nearly as bad as when they'd first met. Sure there had been some things that had shaken him up and brought him back some steps recently, but all of it was so much better having Mari there with him. The kids too, of course, but they obviously didn't know what was up. They just cheered him up. But Mari....Mari was different. He wasn't even sure how to describe her, but she was absolutely amazing. He really couldn't live without her.
