The girl pouted up at him before giving a little bit of a chuckle. "Hmm... I hope not. I'd be a bit embarrassed for you if you were," she teased him lightly before giving a little shrug. She was obviously just teasing though... she was just happy to be there with him for a little bit. She grinned at his little peck before shrugging softly. "Well, I'd like a demonstration as to how awful you can be my love," she joked to him softly.

Sage chuckled lightly at her comment and pecked her lips again lightly before wrinkling his nose slightly. "I'm not so sure you do," he mused. "If I'm too bad it'll take that pretty smile of your away and replace it with something that is most definitely not love," he laughed lightly. Well...he supposed she was getting a demonstration anyway, after that last comment. Oh well.

Mari smiled gently to him, sort of scrunching her nose at his little joke. "Oh, is it really that bad?" She asked him with a small chuckle. She did miss when they could flirt about... tease and joke. They didn't even really do that any more, which was fine, but it was nice to feel her heart flutter a little when they did. She sort of pouted at his comment and scrunched her nose. "Mmm," she hummed softly before reaching up to run a finger down his nose. "I don't worry about that. This isn't exactly a love filled smile anyway," she joked to him, his last comment making her chuckle a little bit.

Sage chuckled lightly and nodded in response to her comment, then gave her a grin and crossed his eyes to follow her finger down his nose. He probably looked rather funny, but whatever...he didn't care that much. "Oh, and I suppose your kisses have just been because I'm so good looking and not because you love me then," he pretended to think out loud, eyes glittering. He reached down to kiss her again though, after a moment, just glad to have some time the two of them.

Mari smiled lightly to him after a moment and gave a little shrug, a large grin crossing her face at the way his eyes went. She cocked her head up at him before giving a chuckle. "Yeah. There's no love here," she joked to him softly before puckering her lips at him playfully. "Just pure, unadulterated lust for the gorgeous man infront of me," she noted with a dramatic chuckle before moving to wrap an arm around his back happily. "But not because I love you. Not one bit," she carried on in a teasing manner before moving to place a light kiss to his lips again.

Sage chuckled lightly in response to her comment, humming lightly in response to her kiss. "Good to know," he chuckled, sort of just grinning down at her. "That makes me feel so much better about myself," he joked lightly. Really, they were only joking around, so none of it really meant anything to him, other than the fact that they were having fun. And that she looked super pretty. He leaned over to press a slightly deeper kiss to her lips happily, just glad to be able to be here with her, just the two of them.

Mari hummed lightly into his kiss, giving a bit of a laugh. "Oh you know I'm joking," she teased to him before going to press a light kiss to his cheek. She was just happy to be around him, though... it made her so happy just to see him smile. She felt so happy to have him close to her, she supposed.. it was nice. Really nice. To see him smile brought a bit of a blush to her face, admittedly, especially after not seeing it for a so long.

Sage hummed lightly in response to her comment, chuckling slightly at her peck and nodding along. Though, he couldnt help but grin over at her and giggle when he noticed the slight redness of her cheeks. "You're blushingggg," he cooed down at her, sticking his face close to hers, really still just playing around but also if he got another kiss or some kind of affection from the girl, he certainly wasn't going to complain about it. He did sort of hope it went somewhere though....just so she was the last one to have touched him like that. It was sort of odd, he supposed, but whatever. He doubted she'd mind.

The girl groaned in complaint when he teased her, her brows pinching together as she tried to control her grin when he stuck his face closer to hers. "I'm touch starved," she complained on a very clearly joking manner. "And I have a very handsome man ontop of me. How can I not blush?" She huffed to him before sinking back into the pillow with a little chuckle. She sort of moved to hold onto his biceps after a moment or two and gave a little chuckle before moving to try and peck his lips with a grin.

Sage sort of rolled his eyes at her first comment, chuckling slightly when she moved to grab him, grinning over at her again after her peck. "So I need to make you not so touch starved, is that what you're saying," he teased her lightly, though his eyes were sort of giving away the fact that he was sort of flirting a bit too. Of course, she was also flirting around a little bit, but he did want some kind of affirmation that he wasn't just moving in without her wanting it all too. He was probably more aware of that now than ever ...even if that was something that always kept him from making too much of a move before, too. It was a bit odd, maybe, but Mari wasn't really the judge type. At least, not to him. And especially not about this sort of thing.
