Rose could hardly keep herself where she was, scared for Caden. She got up and paced the room, worried. She looked at her hpone and saw he had read the message. She sighed and tossed it onto the bed. Guess he doesn't need anything, then. She thought, contemplating whether or not she should track him down. She decided to stay put for Caden's sake, worried he might be upset if she went to him. She checked her phone again. Nothing. She bit her lip in worry, hoping he would come home soon.

Murphy bounded his way through the backyard and onto the dock,located not far from the back door and fireplace.The great dane sat next to Caden and stared at the open water,licked Caden on the face,and bounded off again.Caden shook up,snapping back to reality(wope,there goes gravity). "Just Murph,just Murph." He muttered,mind unclear.

Rose sighed and felt more tears roll down her face. She couldn't stop crying, scared that Caden was now hurt forever because of something she had done. She hadn't waited for him to tell her to run before jumping out of the window and having them both caught. It's my fault. It's my fault It's my fault. She repeated in her mind until she couldn't make it stop. She grabbed her head and curled into a ball on the bed. She couldn't keep from sobbing, ashamed of herself.

"Time I confess." He said,sighing.Caden walked back into the house,forcing Murphy inside aswell.He walked in and saw Rose crying,dashing over to calm her. "Its not your fault," he said softly, "its not your fault."

She couldn't stop crying, even when she felt Caden's arms around her. She refused to look at him, worried he would be upset. "It is." She said through the sobs. She laid there until her sobs quieted to just tears streaming down her face.

"Its not." Caden answered quietly,taking his shirt off.He went into the bathroom,wet a towel,and wiped his back,product peeling off revealing a raw-cut back filled with scars.He walked back out. "This,this is why i've been so distant." He almost snapped,showing her his back,scars covering it.

"What-" She said, sitting up and wiping her eyes. "Holy fuck!" She said, scooting back for a moment from shock before hugging Caden. "Why didn't you tell me?" She whispered, wrapping her arms around his neck

"I could'nt.Thats what I mean by my mind traps me.I can't do anything.They won't let me.Nor will my mind.I can barely even say this right now." He had quieted his voice,smaller,and smaller.The scars on his back rippled across his muscles,much like a stone skipping water.Some even leaving dents,simply because of how deep the cut was.

"You were in pain and you didn't tell me. I wanted to be there for you, love." She said, holding his face, tears still slowly streaming down her face

"Exactly.I could'nt tell you if I wanted to." Caden said,pulling himself from her.At this point,tears were slowly streaming down his face while he kept quiet.
