"Oh come on! Always the noodles," I grumbled, grabbing the bag before walking back into the pantry, grabbing another kind. "How do you say this again? Pen? Panini?" I call, having learned quite a lot of English yet, not all of it.

"Nope. Alfredo noodles, not spaghetti"

"Whatever you grabbed, it's not alfredo" She teased. "Top shelf, right hand side beside the cocoa powder"

"Okay yeah I get that bu---wait, how do you know exactly where they are? I've lived here nine years now and still have to look around for stuff." He questioned, grabbing the correct noodles and walking back out.

"Because you have man eyes. I have woman eyes. You can see a damn buck across a canyon but if your phone is moved from its usual spot, it's gone forever" She said, taking the noodles

I opened my mouth to argue against her point, realizing it was very much true. "Yeah yeah, you win that one." I mutter, chuckling under my breath
