Lorelei smiled softly. It was really nice he thought of her like that. "Thank you, for making sure," she said softly. "Do you want kids? Not now, but in the future?"

"Only if you do...You had said, when you left, that I was just like my father. Did you...mean that?" He asked, worried

Loreleis gaze softened and she scooted up to be eye level with him. She cupped his face. "Yes, I meant it, at the time. But you have to understand, I thought you really had played me. I felt violated and hurt, my heart was broken, but I couldn't stay any of that now. Now I know you didn't mean to hurt me, but protect me. I know now, you are nothing like your father, and I know that as soon as our child comes into this world, you are going to love and spoil them rotten," she said gently and lovingly.

Kai nodded, a tear rolling down his face. It hurt to know that she'd really meant it, and rightfully so, but he still hated that she even had thought that

"Baby, don't cry," she whispered, brushing his tears away. "You're gonna be an amazing husband, and an even better father. You're nothing like your dad,"

"But I am...I'm exactly like him..."
