She did the same, taking a few steps closer as well. "Well Sage, I don't see you as above or beneath me, but instead I see us equal. Solely because of respect, you've lived on your own for a while all while having a two year old and yet, here you are. Still making it, and I respect that. Besides, you'll still need to rest up once you're healthy, may as well take the bed." Elara beckoned.

Sage sort of paused as she spoke, brain short circuiting slightly. She saw them as equals? That was a new one. "You...what," he sort of managed to sputter out, cheeks flushing as he tried to figure out how to take the compliment. Finally he just signed when she mentioned the bed, and ran his fingers through his hair. "Oh, hang it all, it's a big enough bed for two," he grumbled. "If you really want me to sleep on the bed I'll just join you." Then he realized how that sounded and went beet red. "Not, like....sleeping with you sleeping with you...but like ....we could each get a side."

She chuckled when he went red, nodding. "I know what you mean," Elara mused, Liz waking and walking back over to Elara. "Can you teach me to write more?" She asked, the woman nodding. "Sure, here, we'll go learn some more." Elara mused, walking over to the table where the quill, ink, and paper was still set up.

Sage gave Elara a sort of sheepish smile and nod when she said she knew what he meant, shoulders relaxing slightly when she seemed to be alright with the idea. When Liz wandered over, and she and Elara set up at the bench, he sort of wandered over and grabbed a chair as well, just glad to watch his daughter work out the letters and such.

Elara saw Sage pull up a chair out of the corner of her eye, currently teaching Liz how to spell basic words. The girl picked up quick, impressing Elara. "What's Vary?" She asked, the woman not understanding until she realized the girl meant Varys. "Varys is a wolf, you remember how to spell it?" The woman asked, Liz nodding excitedly before writing it out.

Sage just rested his head on his chin, watching Liz figure out words quickly. He was proud of her....she was a smart kid. And she was working hard. Eager to learn. It would bring her far ...further than sage was ever able to go. He was glad for it.

Elara was about to say something when Liz started shooting off questions, one after the other. "How do you spell apple? How do you spell your name? How do you spell Varys's name?" She asked, the woman showing her each and every one.

Sage chuckled when Liz took over their conversation, just watching the little girl eagerly learn everything she was asking. It was good to see, and he was very thankful Elara was willing to teach her

"Okay i'm done, i'm hungry." Liz mused, Elara chuckling. "I gave you an entire apple and a plate of berries not even 20 minutes ago, but okay." She noted, asking her what she wanted before getting it for her.

|
Sage chuckled softly when she said she was hungry, moving to help Elara get it together but gently reminding Liz to say please when she asked for things, to which the little girl nodded with a grin.
