"I'm the only one who can read minds, my love." He said, avoiding the question once more before sighing. He kissed her forehead and told her. "You were.....My parents were hurting you and I couldn't protect you, nomatter how hard I tried. And before you say they won't bother us again, you don't know that."

Morgan chuckled softly. "I know that. But there's no reason I cant cut you open and find out exactly what you're thinking," she teased him with a playful grin. It turned more somber as he kissed her, though. "No... we don't know that," she whispered. "But I do know we're safe for now. And they might bother us, but they're never gonna get close enough to me to hurt me. I promise that much," she murmured softly.

|
"I can promise you that, yes. I'll fight for you until I die if that's what needs to happen." He vowed softly, his eyes searching hers for some sort of relief at knowing what he was dreaming of or what he had just promised her

Morgan smiled to him gently, his gentle but honest vow rushing through her. She knew he meant it. She knew he'd die for her, and she knew he'd always be there. "And id give my all to you. I love you Kai, you mean everything to me and so much more. You really are my world, you know that?" She whispered softly.

Caleb nodded. "I know" He said smugly, smirking and kissing her

Morgan grinned and pecked him back, her eyes light. She rolled onto her back after a little while and let out a soft breath. "Caleb, baby... our exams are soon. We should probably get back to school at some point," she mused lightly.

"But I don't wanna....." He complained playfully, pecking her cheek and getting up. He got dressed and grabbed his keys. "C'mon. Let's go for one more drive before tomorrow we need to get back to that hell..."

|
Morgan pouted at him. "Oh, I knowwww sweetheart," she mused in a playfully condescending tone. She watched him get up, and sort of moved to pop a T-shirt and some leggings on. She nodded in agreement though... yeah, a drive sounded pretty good. "A nice long one," she mused lightly, following him down towards the door.

He chuckled and grabbed his challenger's keys. He had the bright look back on his face as he opened the passenger door for Morgan and hopped into the driver's seat. It hadn't been long since he took a joyride in it, but it felt like time stopped when he climbed into it and revved the engine. He grinned over at Morgan and peeled out of her driveway before gunning down the road

Morgan smiled happily and followed him along. She didn't much care for cars in the way he did, but she loved seeing him so... excited about it all. She loved seeing how happy it made him when he was in them. She squeaked when she felt the car jerk forward as his foot hit the floor on the accelerator, and couldn't help her laugh as she pressed the back of her head into the seat.
