Ryker decided it was time for him to wake up enough to think up smart lines to comfort Abby. He rolled over slightly so he was facing her. "Abby, it was just a dream. Or a nightmare. He's nowhere to be found. And, if it helps, if I see his face again I'll dent it inward for you, eh?" He said quietly, sounding only a little drowsy. He tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear before cupping her cheek in his hand. "You're safe." |

She focused on his words, leaning slightly into his touch. She was eventually calming down enough to lay back down, but her breathing was still a little ragged. She pulled her knees to her chin as she laid down. She still felt a tiny bit cold even though the blankets were wrapped tightly around her. |

Ryker took his hand back as she calmed down, but he did worm his arm under her head to hold her shoulder on the other side. "You don't have to worry about anything. I've always got you." He stated before deciding it'd just be a sleepless night for him, because he wasn't falling asleep again. He could, but he wanted to be awake in case she freaked out again. Not that that one was that bad. He stared at the ceiling, determined to stay awake till morning. |

"I don't know why it happens..." she buried her face in his shirt as a tear silently slid down her cheek. She honestly didn't. It's not like she thought about him. She pushed his thoughts away as much as possible. Now Ryker filled her mind. She was COMPLETELY ok with that. |

"If it happens, it happens. The only thing that matters it what you do about it." He murmured quietly, moving his head slightly to gently kiss her head. "There is not try. There is only do or do not." He imitated Yoda ALMOST perfectly, a small smile coming to his face. "So just do think about the wedding and Vegas and how beautiful you're going to look in the dress you designed." Ryker spoke softly. |

Ryker focused on staring at the ceiling and imagining clouds passing by. It was really only one of the ways he could stay awake. Hours later, miraculously, he was still awake, and had gotten less sleepy as light flooded into the room. He slowly pulled his arms back and rolled out of the bed, then stood, only a little dizzy at first- he always was right when he got out of bed- and went into the kitchen. Ryker yawned and stretched, his arms coming close to touching the ceiling. |

(Is today day two or one..?) - Abby was wide awake when Ryker got up and left. "Whatcha making me?" She asked as she dragged herself out of bed. |

(Day 1 now. Wedding tomorrow) +++ Ryker slowly pivoted as Abby came out. "Make a request. I dunno." He answered, resisting the urge to sit on the couch, because then he wouldn't get back up again. "Happy wedding day eve." He joked with a small chuckle. |
