Rose peeled out of the parking lot, weaving around cars as she sped to the hospital |

Caden's gaze grew hazy, his breathing heavy as his head lolled to the side, eyes threatning to close. |

"Caden? Caden, please stay awake, babe" She begged, pulling up to the hospital and leaping out, begging for doctors to help her while she tried to get Caden out |

"I'm. . . i'm trying." He murmured, getting out before getting whisked away |

They hauled him over to a trauma bay, settling him as they tried to keep him awake, Caden's eyes narrow slits before instantly widening, a doctor pulling the blade out and immediately adding pressure, leaving him with no words. |

He groaned when they kept him awake, digging the needle into his side as he winced. |

"FUCK." He snapped, muscles twitching as the doctor continued. Caden pinched the bridge of his nose with his fingers, grinding his teeth as the adrenaline quickly wore out. |
