Sage just stayed with her. He knew she was upset, and he stayed awake with her for as long as he possibly could, but eventually his body betrayed him and he fell asleep.

Amira eventually fell asleep, but the nightmare haunted her once more and her fear rose until she was shaking in her sleep. She woke after a couple hours and refused to fall asleep again, instead getting up and walking to the living room

Sage stirred when she woke but he was so tired he didn't actually wake up as she got up. He would've wanted to, but he was really tired. When he did wake up later and she wasn't there though, he sort of tiredly got up and wander until he found her, plopping down next to her. "What's up," he murmured.

"It doesn't matter. You need to sleep" She said, tired and playfully pushing him before finally leaning on him.

He chuckled softly and shrugged. "I slept more than you it seems," he noted, since she'd been awake before him. "I'm alright. JUst need to wake up a bit," he added with a yawn. He wasn't a morning eprson, and she knew that. It was fine.

"That's for sure" she muttered, kissing him. She got up and walked to make breakfast, expertly moving about the kitchen and making a meal. She served Sage and went to take care of dishes. She wasn't hungry, so she didn't eat. She put the dishes away and went to sit next to him tiredly at the table

Sage kissed her back and then moved to sit at the table when she moved in that direction. He ate quickly and then lingered there for her to finish cleaning the dishes and then sit down by him

"I should probably head to work" she muttered, getting up and walking to the bedroom before getting dressed. She sighed, knowing this would be another long day of tasks and deadlines, but it was half of the income

Sage nodded softly and patted her leg. "You should look around, see if there's better jobs you'd like out there," he suggested. "You don't have to stay there if you don't like it," he pointed out with a shrug

Amira came out of the bedroom, dressed and put on her shoes. "It doesn't really matter where I work if i'm quitting in a few months" She explained, grabbing her keys
