The mare reared and whinnied. She nodded her head up and down. "I think she likes Lightning. That's a good name." Dakota smiled and grabbed Jacob's hand tightly. She kissed his cheek and patted the the mare's neck.

Jacob laughs and squeeze her hand and said "lightning good girl let's show you around and meet the horses"

Dakota smiled and laid her head on Jacob's shoulder as they walked to the barn. Lightning tossed her mane and nickered. Athena pricked her ears when she heard the Flame-sounding horse. She thought it was Flame so Athena galloped towards the barn, but stopped in her tracks when she saw it wasn't Flame. Athena nickered to the new mare quietly and hung her head. Lightning nickered back to her new friend and pulled on the lead rope. Dakota pulled Lightning back to the barn and fixed up a stall for her. "Good girl! Athena! Come here!" Dakota called. Athena trotted at the sound of her best friend (besides Flame). She walked into the barn and nuzzled Dakota's cheek. Athena sniffed the new mare and whinnied.

Jacob watches them and hope they were friendly sad that Athena lost flame but she had to get use to flame daughter lightning

Lightning beared her teeth at Athena. Athena pinned her ears and tossed her head. They stomped their hooves and Athena reared. She hated this new mare. Flame was the only friend she ever had.

Jacob said "no be friends "looking at them both and said " I know you lost your only friend but lighting is flame daughter so get use to each other"

Athena snorted and looked away. Lightning nuzzled Athena saying sorry. Athena just shook her mane and looked at Lightning. They had to get along. Athena nodded her head and nickered to Lightning happily. They both ran outside and played in the pasture.

Jacob said " there you give them a talk and they learn to like each other thanks honey again I don't know what I'll do without you"

"Mhmm." Dakota put her arms around Jacob's neck and kissed him. "They listen well, that's for sure." Dakota giggled and looked into his eyes.

Jacob kissed her back and said "i love you and then I do make a good fight"
