Nathan Croft - "Cmon, baby, let me help you,"
Dakota felt a tear roll down her cheek and she took a shaky breath. "It hurts. Badly." She admitted, looking down
| |
Nathan Croft - Nate wiped her tear away. "What do you need, baby? Ice? Painkillers?"
"I don't know" she admitted, her walls coming down slowly
| |
Nathan Croft - "Hey, hey, shh, you're okay," he said wiping her tears. "Just tell me what you need, so I can help you, okay?" he said gently. "And then we can cuddle and watch a movie, or have a good cry, or whatever you want to do,"
"I just don't know" she said quietly. "It's just hard to accept I need to be careful for the next couple weeks. I want to go ride and get back to regular life, but I can't"
| |
Nathan Croft - Nate enveloped her in a hug, careful not to hurt her. "I know, I'm sorry, but you can do this, I know you can," he reassured her. "Is there anything I can do to either help with the pain or make you feel normal again?"
Dakota shook her head, unable to find words. She melted into him, her pain pushed to the back of her mind for the moment
| |
Nathan Croft - Nate held her, "Its okay... it'll be okay..."
Dakota didn't talk, just closed her eyes and tried to relax. It didn't work
