Sage woke when he smelled the food, wandering into the kitchen and taking it happily. He ate quick while she got ready for bed, then moved to get ready himself.
| |
Amira lounged on the bed while she waited for Sage, her mind wandering back to her brother
| |
Sage came back once he had finished and washed his bowl out, crawling into the bed and flopping down next to her with a content sigh.
| |
"Tell me how you really feel" She joked, curling up with him. "Sage? I'm......worried" She admitted. Scared, but he doesn't need to know that.... She thought, tracing his tattoos

Sage sort of hummed softly and wrpaped his arms around her. "I'm wary. I know we'll need to keep a bit of an eye out. But I don't think anything bad will happen," he murmured.
| |
Amira didn't respond, her mind spiraling to all the bad things that may happen
| |
Sage knew her mind was going to all the negatives, so he just shrugged. "Look, your brother has gotten tired of calling already. He's not doing it as often. I doubt he's going to try anything."
| |
"I blocked him, that's why he hasn't called" She snapped quietly, fear written all over her face
| |
Sage frowned slightly when she snapped at him, but just hugged her tighter. "We'll be ok," he murmured. They had to be.
| |
Amira's mind raced with worry and fear and, now, shame for snapping at him. She closed her eyes, hoping to just fall asleep. She didn't and her nightmare from that afternoon played over and over in her mind
