The girl let a small smile rest on her face as Sage shifted. He had done this a few times now... and despite not having any intricate feelings for the boy, or so she thought, every time she found an elated jolt run through her chest. She knew he most likely did it for warmth or comfort, but she still found underlying happiness from it. God, she needed to get a grip. Anya shifted a little to get comfortable before resting her head back on the cliff wall behind them, patiently waiting for the sun to start to light up the sky. There had been a few heavy footsteps on the other side of the ivy curtain, most likely the men from before doubling back. That had caused Anya a few minutes of panic, but luckily, they didn't quite pick up on the small entrance and eventually left again. After about two and a bit hours, the peak of the sun had finally started to light up the sky.

Sage continued to sleep deeply for most of that time, but since he was used to not sleeping for long periods of time, he rose back into a lighter sleep after a few hours. By the time the sun had started to rise he was barely asleep, and was aware of his sorroundings, even though he wasnt really moving around a lot. He heard the men run past, but they went away before he roused himself so he relaxed again soon after.

Anya peaked her head out of the ivy curtains for one more time before gently nudging Sage's side to awaken him. "Sage, come on," she murmured softly, slowly trying to wake him. "We should go now." The girl noted lighty before shifting a little so that she was ready to help him up.

Sage opened his eyes slowly and squinted up at Anya before yawning and nodding. He used his uninjured arm to try and push himself upwards of the ground, and noticed the cloak draped around him. He was slightly surprised, and could feel a blush spreading across his cheeks again. Gosh, he needed to get a hold of his brain. Damn the hormones that made him act like an idiot. "Thanks," he muttered, and busied himself in trying to stand up.

The girl gave a light chuckle. "Well, I wasn't going to let you freeze." She murmured before standing up and dusting herself off. "You seemed like you rested well. Did you know you actually look your age when you sleep? And then you act half that? It's actually pretty cute," She noted with a snicker. There was no way she needed to say that, and a light blush painted her cheeks as she spoke, holding her hands out as though she were ready to catch him as he was trying to stand. "Those men, they doubled back a few times. I was worried they'd find us." She murmured lightly, her nose slightly wrinkled.

Sage ignored her comment about calling him cute and nodded. "I heard them come by. But they left so I don't think they'll be back here anytime soon. They'll know we left at some point." He had crawled up by now, though it had quickened his heart and breathing. Or maybe that was Anya calling him cute. It would have been enough to give him a warm fuzzy feeling if anyone said that...usually he was called more negative things, so a compliment was nice. This was Anya though...it was a bit different. She was blushing too, though, so he couldn't help but be a bit cheeky and give her a wide smirk. "You're blushing," he sang, teasing her slightly about it.

The girl let out a small groan before directing her gaze at the ground. Her cheeks only seemed to flush up more when he pointed her blush out. Something was definitely wrong with her. The girl was normally quite good with battling with teasing and banter, along with putting her emotions in check, but for whatever reason, all that went out the window when it came to Sage. For once, she actually struggled to find words to tease him back with. "Oh god I know." She complained, crossing her arms around herself. Why did he have to point it out? She felt stupid now. The girl glanced back up, a small smile lingering on her face. "But I'm blushing because I said something stupid." She looked him up and down for a moment. "You're blushing too, and I haven't got a clue why." She added with a slightly cocked head.

Sage turned redder and made a face at her. "Well now that you point it out, why don't I just stop it completely. Flip a switch in my brain," he sarcastically joked. He figured that throwing something humorous out there he would seem more normal to her. Not like he was really still hurting and messed up and broken. He put a hand on her back to steer her in the direction on the hole. "Come on, let's get you back home." He was glad she had come by, that he had gotten to see her one more time before he died.

Anya nodded slightly as she wandered out the little hole. She was still a bit cautious, worried that the men would still be lingering. But they were long gone. She had to remind herself of that. She glanced back at him curiously. Where would he go now? Would he be working? Surely it would be difficult trying to deal with tavern goers with an injured arm. She looked thoughtful for a moment. Her days would go back to being overly boring... like they had before they met. Maybe... maybe she could come out again. "Sage, what are you doing tomorrow night?" She asked brightly.

Her question took him by surprise. He wasn't exactly planning on being here tomorrow night. Now he had to find a believable answer for her question. In a decent time manner, or she's think something was wrong. Know it, if she knew him as well as he thought. "Uhhh, living? Probably?" It was a lame answer. Stupid, really. "Nothing I guess. I dunno." Hopefully, he'd be gone and at peace. Although, he figured it wouldn't be all peace considering the things he had done while he was alive.
