Sage had sort of worked on the patio studio for a while before realizing it was lunch time, and the kids were probably hungry. Actually, it was close to three, so it was a bit past lunch, but that was ok. He'd just make something quickly. He wandered into the kitchen, deciding on some sandwiches and calling the kids in for lunch. Silas came happily, and Lizzie sort of crawled in that direction, though he moved to scoop her up and carry her into the kitchen to get her her lunch. Silas ate quick and ran...he was eager to get back to playing, so sage was more than happy to finish up with Lizzie and let them play in the backyard as he finished the small details in the little studio he'd constructed

Mari padded around for a little while, picking up a few necessities before returning home. She called to let them know it was her, and waddled in happily, setting everything of the kitchen counter and going around to the back garden where she could hear the kids giggling happily. Liz was trying to walk about, and Silas was running circles around her. She padded up behind Sage as he was finishing up and wrapped her arms lightly around his sides. "This is looking really good," she chirped happily before gently moving to press a light kiss to the base of his neck. "I may or may not have one or two people that want to come and talk to you in the next few weeks," she then added happily.

Sage hadn't noticed Mari come up behind him, though he hummed happily and tilted his head slightly when he felt her kiss on his neck. "Hey babe," he greeted her lightly before shrugging and looking around the room. "I'm about done I think," he mused, before patting her hands that were around his waist happily. "See, I knew you'd be good for this," he chirped happily, leaning into her slightly, sort of just happy to curl up a bit and watch the kids having fun.

Mari smiled at his greeting and held him a bit tighter when he leaned into her. "I like it... it's cozy," she hummed gently, resting her chin on his shoulder as she watched the kids run about happily. "Maybe when we're on our feet we can get a glass over out on it... then it'll be nice anc cozy in the winter," she hummed thoughtfully. "Well, you were right. But once they come and see y you, you will have to talk to them," she told him with a small laugh.

Sage hummed lightly and nodded in response to her first comment. 'yhat was the goal," he chuckled lightly. "I wanted it to be nice and cozy for while I'm working. Especially while it's cold out," he admitted with a chuckle. He nodded happily when she mentioned the glass, chirping "that would be lovely," to her, reaching back to peck her cheek lightly. "Good idea, babe."

Mari kind of shrugged at him, but was still happy enough about this whole thing. It was cute, and she could drag some cushions and pillows in so that she could watch him paint. She liked seeing him concentration face. "And I can creep on you while you're nice and cozy," she chuckled to him softly. She grinned at his little peck and went to sit just against one of the chairs. "So, I payed a visit to the doctor today. He was sorta shocked to see me, but we should have a decent sum of money coming our way after all that," she chuckled lightly to him.

Sage groaned slightly and shook his head at her. "You're so mean to me," he fake whined, moving over to the chair she was in and scooping her up so he could sit down. He'd only really put one cozy chair in there so far...there's wasn't a super large area.... But he plopped her right back down in his lap, which she wouldn't care about. Especially since the kids were playing and not at all paying attention to them. Besides, they weren't exactly going to get intimate or anything, not with her still hurting and him still slightly sick. She plopped down on his lap often enough, and they really wouldn't think too much of it at this point. Besides, he wanted to curl up with her a bit. He'd been working all day, and she'd been gone. He hummed lightly when she mentioned the doctor and nodded. "That'll help," he admitted. "If I get a bunch of orders I'd need more supplies too, so a bit of extra money could be useful anyway." If a birth went wrong and they needed a vet, they'd need money for that too. But so far, the foals they had were healthy, and the two pregnant mares were healthy as well. He wasn't overly worried.

The girl pouted at him and went to stick her tongue out at him. "What, I'm not allowed to do that?" She asked with a frown. She sort of squeaked at him when he picked her up, but gave a small chuckle and wrapped her arms around his side loosely. "Means we get to eat for a bit longer too," she chuckled. It was a bit of relief... it just meant they'd be able to relax for a little bit longer, too. Not rush around. They still had to work a bit harder, but they wouldn't be running themselves raw and injuring themselves any further. "Well, we can deal with that when it comes to it," she hummed happily to him.

He grunted slightly at her comments, nodding along in agreement. "Gives us some room to do things other than work all the time," he said with a slight yawn. "Maybe I can actually sleep in for once," he noted with slight amusement. He really did hope for a solid sleep in and relax day...he hadn't gotten much sleep for a while now. EVen now that she was home, they were always up and working to get things done and back up to normal. And it was a lot. Having some time to relax and focus on getting better would be nice...he was sick of feeling so gross all the time. He hummed lightly at her last comment and nodded in agreement, curling into her slightly. "I do try not to think too far ahead," he mused. "It breaks my brain," he joked with a slight laugh.

Mari nodded happily in agreement to the boy. "You slept in today," she told him happily before shaking her head. "But yes, it does mean that," she hummed softly. She did want him to rest up and heal... hopefully the kids wouldn't remember this kind of rough spot, they'd worked hard to make sure they didn't know any different. But the sooner they got better, the sooner this would all be over, too. She gave a small smile, and softly ran a hand to the side of his face, and pecked his lips softly. "You need to think! It's how we function," she mused lightly. "You need to be doing brain exercises," she mused lightly.
