She smiled, laughing. "They were torturing us , gave us all terriable beds." Elara mused lightly.

Sage just grinned over at her, nodding along. "I much preferred the old shacl I'd been staying in," he mused, shaking his head. He did sink lower into the cushions though, half asleep despite his attempts to stay awake and keep talking.

"Hey, staying those old stables nobody used anymore which still had hay on the floor was always comfy. Always a whole lot of it so you kinda just sank into it, and it was warm." She noted, watching Liz as she went over to Varys and started scratching him, her small hand sinking into the black abyss of his fur.

Sage hummed softly in thought with a nod as she spoke. Hay did hold heat pretty well, so it made sense. She'd moved on though, and he'd passed out again, curled up in a little ball under the blankets

Elara busied herself with teaching Liz how to write a few letters and numbers, the girl being curious as to what she was doing anyways. The woman cheered her on at her sloppy lettering, the girl smiling brightly.

Sage slept for a while, but when he woke again he was feeling much better, so he moved to peer over the girls shoulders, chuckling softly. "Keep that up and you'll bypass your old man," he mused to Liz. He didn't really read or write very well himself.

Elara cheered her on, Liz eventually writing her name out and even Elara's....well, kinda. "Good job," She complemented, the girl smiling up at her, her grin growing when she saw Sage up and hurried over to him.

Sage chuckled when Liz ran over to him and moved to scoop her up, placing a light kiss to her head. "Hey kiddo," he hummed lightly. "Why don't you show me what you're up to," he suggested lightly, sitting down next to Elara

"Somebody must be feeling better, look at you! Up and around, finally getting better, I guess." Elara mused with a soft smile, Liz getting set down and looking back at the paper. "Just like you did earlier, like this one." She said softly to the girl, pointing at the earlier writing of her name. Liz nodded, writing it on a blank part of the paper.

Sage chuckled at elaras comment, throwing her an amused glance. "I feel a bit better," he agreed. "Easier to breathe. That helps a lot." The medicine had likely taken the swelling of his lungs down ...which was def a good thing.
