Kayla woke the next morning a bit after he had. Her eyes fluttered open and she smiled softly as she saw him. |

Gale got up,grabbing his bow as the morning dew set in.The sun had barely rose,it still being dimly lit outside.He walked out,eyes scanning the horizon before kicking a bow behind him,it skidding to a stop by Kayla.Gale started walking,picking up a jog as he turned onto the path,slowing and turning into a clearing,hiding in a bush and notching his bow,waiting for bait. |

A large buck walked out,sniffing the ground before stopping halfway out of the bushes.Gale drew the bow back,arching the bow as his muscles pulsed.The buck looked at him,Gale freezing in place before letting the arrow fly,kiling the buck almost instantly. "You try." He tells her,grabbing the buck and dragging it towards them. |

Gale chuckled,walking over her as his jaw dropped. "Oh my gosh it's the elk I tagged." He mutters,lifting his bow before dropping it,letting the creature go. |

Kayla smiled, stifling a laugh that threatened to escape. She didn't feel this happy around anyone but him |

"Nah," He says,pulling the arrow back and shooting it into the elk.Gale darted out,sprinting after it as it ran off.He trailed behind,throwing himself onto its antlers and digging into the grounf,forcing all his weight onto his side near the forest floor,driving its horns into the ground.The elk let out a humanlike cry before slipping away,Gale shutting its eyes and standing. |
