Amira thought of all the things she would be able to do with the baby as it grows up. She thought of how she would teach it, help it, love it. She couldn't stop smiling until her mind wandered back to her brother, hateful and angry. Her smile dropped as soon as she thought of how he would react. She was nearly asleep now, so it was changing to a nightmare as she thought. Sage and her both trying to fight him with their child behind them and away from Luke, her brother trying to get to it and Amira not being able to fight him any longer as he stabbed her, then Sage and finally their child. She woke up crying quietly, turning to bury her face in Sage's chest and hoping he would chase the nightmare away

Sage sort of looked down at her and frowned when she suddenly woke and grabbed him, immediately going to comfort her. "It's alright," he murmured. "Whatever it is you were thinking about, it isn't happening."

Sage just ran his fingers through her hair gently, hoping he was at least a bit of a comfort.

Amira's herat slowed to a normal pace and she slowly relaxed as Sage held her and she felt his hand in her hair

Sage was relieved when he felt her relaxed. He didn't mind staying up with her while she was upset. He wanted her hapoyy

"I love you" she muttered, slowing and fearfully slipping in sleep again

He hummed "I love you too," in response to her and went back to sleep as well once she calmed down and slipped off.

After a couple hours, Amira woke up to see the sky beginning to darken. She sighed and got up to make him dinner. She mad something simple, ramen. She wasn't hungry still, so she didn't eat. She served Sage a bowl and took care of dishes before going to get dressed for the night
