"you're supposed to... keep running" she said as she continued to try to catch her breath

"Oh come on, I caught you fair and square." Tyler grinned, crossing his arms.

she rolled her eyes and laid her head on the grass, looking up at the sky. Titan gave a shrill whinney from his pasture, and, though he never saw them, he could hear them. "how could i forget!" she squealed as she pushed herself up and forced her tired legs into a run towards her horse. she ran past the barn and straight to Titan, who was cantering in circles and tossing his head, his way of being impatient.

Tyler watched Abby take off, then followed at a jog. He stopped near Titan's pasture. "hey boy." Tyler managed to greet the horse, wondering how Abby had so much energy

Titan slid to a stop and bumped Abby with his head, nearly pushing her over with all his happiness. "hey boy" she breathed, gripping onto his mane. she stroked his face, kissing his cheek and muzzle. "sorry i haven't been with you... this guy is kinda a handful" she whispered in his ear, giving a slight tilt of her head towards Tyler. she grinned

"Excuse ME, I have ears." Tyler huffed, not being able to refuse the grin that came to his face. He turned and walked towards where West was standing. "Sorry I haven't been with you... this girl is kinda a handful" Tyler snorted loud enough for Abby to hear. West tossed his mane and nickered, making Tyler laugh

she turned her eyes over to Tyler who snorted. "copy cat" she said with a giggle. she grinned "your grin must be contagious!"

"Eh, but I don't act like a cat." Tyler gave another grin, chuckling. "My grin is most definetely contagious." He laughed

she giggled and gave him a slight nudge. Titan snorted and tossed his mane.

West turned his head and seemed to look at Abby, then gave a small whinny. Tyler smiled and patted the horse's neck, leaning up against the fence. He wondered if he would ever do Dressage with West again. Well... the horse wasn't young. Tyler had been riding West since he was 12. West was now 13.... or 14. Tyler couldn't quite remember, but that's because his mind kept drifting back to the 'good ol days' where he would take West for a run in the woods or ride him through mud puddles.
