Elias chuckled at her teasing, smirk tugging at his lips. “Oh, you want me to do something about it?” he murmured, standing and brushing his fingers along her arm. “Fine… don’t move.” A few moments later he returned, settling back beside her on the couch with a warm, slightly mischievous grin. In his hand was a white chocolate mocha, steam curling up from the cup, and he draped a blanket over her shoulders as he handed it to her. “There,” he said softly, pressing a quick kiss to the top of her head. “If this is your home, then I’m taking care of you properly. Can’t have you getting cold—or bored.” He leaned back, tugging her closer. “Not going anywhere, right?”

"Eli I didn't mean that you have to take care of me," She started, taking a sip of the drink and looking up at him with the foam on her lips. "Thanks though." Emery chuckeld taking a few more sips as she pulled the blanket around her, pulling him back down onto the couch.

Elias let out a soft, contented sigh as she tugged him back onto the couch, the warmth of the blanket and her pressing against him making his eyes heavy. He rested his head against hers for a moment, lips brushing the top of her hair. “You’re… welcome,” he murmured sleepily, voice low and slow. His fingers twitched lightly over her arm. Before long, his breathing evened out, chest rising and falling against hers, eyes closed. A faint, lazy smirk lingered on his lips as he nuzzled her just slightly, completely relaxed and asleep. he murmured in a half-dream slightly , one arm draped over her, holding her close.

Emery drifted off quickly, setting the drink down as she rested on him, content in his embrace and the comfiness of the couch. A feeling a safety and warmness settled around her like the blanket---which was now casted across him as well.

(Timeskip!) The soft glow of morning sunlight spilled through the curtains, casting warm streaks across the couch. Elias stirred first, eyes fluttering open to find Emery still curled against him, the blanket draped over both of them. A lazy smile spread across his face as he shifted slightly, careful not to wake her. He pressed a gentle kiss to the top of her head, still warm from sleep, and let out a quiet chuckle. “Morning… sleepyhead,” he murmured softly, his voice rough and low, the faintest teasing lilt still in it. The faint scent of white chocolate mocha lingered from last night, and he relaxed back against the couch, just enjoying the quiet warmth of her in his arms as the day began.

Emery flicked her eyes open when he spoke, the movement sudden as she was hyped up on caffiene. "I've been up since 4:30 this morning, already downed two RedBulls. Don't think i'm too sleepy," She mused, tone shifting as she traced his jaw. "You however. . . definitely.." The woman teased, brushing her lips where her hand had been.

"Well normally i dont have a 120 pound weighted blanket ontop of me crushing my lung" he tossed his hand up dramatically like he was a princess. "Anywho, you drooled on my shirt." He looked at the window, It snowed again. He got up slowly, stretching as he went onto his balcony, looking outside at the busy-ish streets. His fingers ran through his now dry hair, it moved back into place like silk. "Arent your folks gonna be worried about you?" He asked turning towards her.

She laughed at his weighted blanket comment, though her face turned offended when he said she drooled on him. "I did not---why would I---No I DID'NT!" Emery snapped lightly, following him out onto the balcony before instantly turning back around and walking back inside. "Nope, too cold." She mused, still slightly when he asked if her parents would be worried about him. "They're out of town again, besides, half the time they forget i'm here." She muttered
