The v8 hummed beneath them as Jaden pulled out onto the highway, heading downtown. "So... where's this place again?" He asked, glancing over as he went at least 20 over the speed limit.

Charlotte pulled out her phone. "Next intersection turn right, go a couple miles, and then turn left. There's a parking lot next to the resturaunt. Lights all over the front porch of the building." She turned her phone off and set it on the dash. "I suppose we could get a couple drinks too, I can pay for myself." She mused.

"Yeah, don't let me get so drunk I can't drive though." He noted with a chuckle, eventually pulling into the lot and parking before getting out.

"I won't. We'll keep it under control." She mused, looking out the window as Jaden turned. "There!" She pointed to a pretty building covered in sting lights at the front, and people laughing and drinking inside. She stepped out of the car, her boots clinking softly on the pavement.

"Nice place," He murmured, walking inside and heading towards the bar, taking a seat as two menus were laid out infront of him and Charlotte, for both food and drinks. Jaden ordered an Old Fashioned, his go to drink at any place, deciding to wait on food.

Charlotte ordered a glass of whiskey and watched their drinks arrives as she sipped on hers. The waiter came back around to take food orders. Charlotte ordered a Damn Good Burger as she folded the menu and set it at the end of the table.

Jaden just got a burger and fries, along with another Old Fashioned. Their waitress refilled their glasses, looking between them and grinning slightly. "You two a couple?" Jaden glanced over at Charlotte with a questionable look, a somewhat 'yes or no' one.

"More like stable hand and jockey." She mused, shooting a questionable look back to Jaden. After she left, she started snickering slightly. "You were looking at me as if questioning if we were actually together though." She replied after the lady had left.

"Well maybe I was, just maybe..." He said with a smirk, the food arriving and him carrying on.

"You were what?" She laughed. "Damn, I'm done with the whiskey." She slid the second glass across the table. "I'll need to work tomorr- Thanks!" She stopped mid sentence to thank the waitress, nodding to her. "So, continue what you were saying." She took a bite of burger.
