Sage sort of shrugged in response to her first comment. "They made their choice," he noted casually, before glancing at his walk in response to her question. "We may as well go whenever you feel like it," he noted with a sort of heavy breath. He didn't care one way or the other when she had her walk....besides, he did enjoy her company, and ti allowed them to talk without the others listening in.

"Well, true but still. Some people made no choices and still got in trouble" she looked down, having said too much. She ignored her brain and looked up toward the guard. "Lets go now. I'm bored and..." her voice trailed off as she glanced over at Dale who was watching her. "...yeah..." she finished

Sage grunted in response to the girl's comment, noting again how salty she seemed about being locked up. He chose t oignore that though, not wanting to admit how much her words hit home. "Alright then, let's go," he sort of noted with a sigh as he got up, wandering over to her cell and unlocking it, gesturing for her to came out and then closing the door behind her, wandering down to swipe his card and push the heavy door open to bring them outside.

Ally hung her head, her eyes on the ground as they passed Dale's cell. He watched her go and she could still feel his gaze even as she walked through the door and into nature. She lifted her head, closing her eyes as she took a deep breath of the fresh air. "You never realise how bad it smells out there until you step outside" she said, seemingly happier as she glanced around at the fall scenery. There seemed to be more orange and yellow leaves than there were the day before and the red leaves were poking out here and there

Sage watched the girl ignore the other man in the cell next to her, wondering what had happened between them. Dale seemed just as confused as he was about it....and he had to admit while he didn't particularly care about his feeling, he did care about hers. It seemed odd that she'd just end a relationship suddenly, with no warning. Maybe he should be stepping a bit more carefully around the girl. "I think I tell myself that on a daily basis," he noted in a somewhat amused manner, nodding along in agreement to her comment.

She smiled a little as she watched the birds fly around the trees. She pulled a strand of her hair over her shoulder and toyed with it as she stared at the grass in the distance. "I got quite crazt with my drawings and now the chalk is almost gone" she looked down at her feet, the smile coming back. "Thank you for that by the way. I don't know if I told you that yesterday"

Sage glanced over at her and offered her a smile, though it didn't quite reach his eyes, nodding in acceptance of the thanks. "I can always get more," he noted. "Just let me know." Then he shrugged. "Besides, there's no reason you shouldn't be able to have chalk. It can't be used for anything other than drawing," he mused. He'd tried to use it for various ..experiments. it wasn't very useful.

"Okay well thanks" she looked up at him for a split second before looking away. She didn't really want to just walk in silence but she was at a loss for what to talk about. She let out a soft breath and wracked her brain for something she remembered from her home.

Sage nodded in response to her comment, falling into the silence. He didn't mind it so much....and he wasn't really sure what to talk about anyway. "How'd you and Dale meet," he asked after a moment. "Here? You two seem like you've known each other for a while," he added, in an attempt to find a casual conversation.

Ally hesitated. Did she actually want to tell him? Not like it was a sappy romance story anyway. "We met here" was all she wanted to say but her mouth had a different plan. "He comforted me from his cell and told me stories about his home. He kinda forced me to open up to him." She shrugged. "Jessi, my old cell mate that was released four days ago, she used to beat me up and Dale would comfort me and calm me down. I think she only beat me cause she and Dale had dated in high school. " SHe said solemly. She and Jessi had become friends after a few months and it broke her heart when she was told that Jessi would leave. Now she just felt numb
