Adrien Pirla -☆- Adrien shoved to his feet, scooting the chair in with a screech and going to the stairs. He slid his fingers over the wood railing as he trotted up the stairs. Reaching the second story, Adrien walked to a door on the right side of the floor. He walked into the room. It was supposed to be his room. But it was clean and white and... cookie cutter. Adrien hated this room. He grabbed his laptop off the bed and quickly left the room, going to the attic stairs and walking up them, computer hooked under his arm. Adrien looked around the attic, looking for anything that was touched before his eyes landed on Nicholas. "The couch is right there....?" He muttered, slightly in question as to why the blonde chose the floor. Adrien plopped down on the green couch and pulled his legs up, sitting criss cross. He tucked his sock adorned feet under his legs. Adriens blue eyes landed back on Nicholas as he waited in the silence.

Nick Browns - Nick watched as Adrien entered and walked over to the green couch. His face fading into a scarlet hue as Adrien questioned where he was sitting. Nick had chosen to sit on the ground because he felt out of place in the room. This wasn't his space, this room didn't contain anything of his, and Nick could tell this was a special place for Adrien and he didn't want to disrupt it. After Adrien had sat down on the green couch, Nick got up slowly, still hurting from the wounds on his back. He then sat down on the comfy green sofa next to Adrien, but still gave him his space. Not too close, but not too far. Nick couldn't lean back onto the couch because of his wounds, so he had to sit up straight awkwardly. Staring at his hands, the awkward silence between them building between the two boys, started to make Nick nervous. Only then did Nick realize he was still in the same clothes he arrived here in, bloodstained and dirty. He still didn't have any shoes or socks, and he probably didn't smell the best either, considering he hadn't taken a shower since two days ago. Normally he would've taken a shower yesterday to clean himself up after the beach, but we all know how that ended.

Adrien Pirla -☆- Adrien looked Nicholas over. "Do... you want a pillow.... and some clothes....?" He asked quietly. Adrien pushed his laptop onto a table, looking back at Nicholas. He waited silently for an answer. "... yeah. Maybe you should change. You can use anything I have in my room if it's not green." He told Nicholas. The green things were mostly all of his favorite things... but he knew he had a few hoodies and shorts and pants that weren't green.

Nick Browns - Nick nodded quietly to Adriens first question, "yeah, some clean clothes would be nice..." he murmured softly, still looking down at his hands. At Adriens second statement, he nodded again. Though, he hesitated before he got up. Nick felt weird going into someone else's bedroom when they weren't there, and he didn't really know where Adriens room was in the firstplace. Nick shoved those thoughts away and stood up, thinking 'suck it up Nick, it's fine, you can find the right room.' But his thoughts doubled back on him and he froze in the middle of the room. "Um, where is it?" He asked quietly and awkwardly. Nick was still very awkward around Adrien. Yes, he was staying in his house, but he didn't really know him, and he felt very exposed and vulnerable when he was with him. It made him unsettled knowing someone he barely knew his deepest, darkest, most protected, exposing secret. That his dad hit him.

Adrien Pirla -☆- "Uhm... second floor, cleanest room there." He said. "Actually just look for the room that doesn't have a 'Surf In Progress' sign on it." He muttered, standing up and going over to the window. He looked outside the small window and sighed. "Actually, I can show you. I have to go down anyway." He said, grabbing a small spray bottle and gesturing for Nicholas to follow. Adrien made his way down to the second floor and paused, pointing to the rooms door. "There you go." He muttered, giving a small thumbs up before vanishing downstairs to go fill up the small spray bottle.

Nick Browns - Nick followed the boy silently, and went down to the room, flashing him a small grateful smile, as Adrien pointed him in the right direction and gave him a thumbs up. As he entered, Nick quickly realized Adriens room looked nothing like the attic. It was almost too clean. After a bit of gently rummaging through Adriens dresser and closet, he quickly found a pair of whitewash jean shorts, that fell at his knees, and a black hoodie. He didn't manage to find a shirt that wasn't green though, so he just had to wear the hoodie. Nick had tried his best not to disturb anything in the room, and he had done a good job, everything was either exactly back where he'd found it, or very very close to it. After changing he made his way back upstairs to the attic, sitting back down on the green couch in the same spot he was in when he left, and waited for Adrien.

Adrien Pirla -☆- Adrien filled up the small bottle with water, walking back to the stairs. He jogged up the two flights of stairs to the attic once more. He didn't even spare the room on the second floor a glance. He walked over to the small window and peaked out it, spraying the few flowery plants in the flowerbox hanging outside. Adrien ducked back inside and closed the window, setting the bottle down and turning around. Seeing Nicholas wearing his clothes flipped his stomach. Adrien looked him over before walking over and sitting on the other side of the couch. He watched Nicholas with his ocean blue eyes, wondering what to do now.

Nick Browns - Nick watched as Adrien watered the flowers, admiring the way the boy moved as he did so. As Adrien sat down, the awkward silence was tense between them. Nick's mind started to wander about the coming school day. Normally he would've skipped a few days to a week, to heal up, but he probably shouldn't be missing anymore classes, especially Chemistry. After a while of the tense silence, Nick decided to ask what Adrien thought. "... um, do you have any ideas about monday?" He asked quietly, glancing over at the dark haired boy.

Adrien Pirla -☆- Adrien looked up. "Uhm... you mean for tutoring?" He questioned in confusion. "Uhm... well, I guess we could study here. Now that you've been here." He muttered, scratching his neck nervously.

Nick Browns - "Um.. no, I meant just school in general..." he clarified awkwardly. He looked down at his hands in his lap awkwardly, his cheeks coloring with a light pink. He still wasn't great about talking about things like this. "..I um I don't usually go to school after my dad does that kind of stuff. No one else knows about what my dad does, and I can't really function properly without tearing the scabs or its too obvious I'm hurt to hide it..." he explained still looking at his hands
