Cassius Abel - Cassius chortled at the fact his sister had a guard Tiger, "and they didn't get you that same courtesy?" He said, distaste filling his voice. Cassius watched the prince pick grass in the corner of his eye.
"...what?" He said, shock ringing through him, then anger, "What?" He said again, but not to the prince, but rather to the blades of grass that wrapped around his gloved hands. The blades of grass slowly untangled themselves from his fingers and fell to the ground, at that moment Cassius turned to the prince, "and by the sound of your voice... you don't want to marry" he said, looking carefully at the prince. |

Prince Vincent Omveran ~~~ Vincent went silent and sighed gently, removing his fingers from the grass. "I don't have a choice. Being a royal isn't all fun and games, dearest vampire." Vincent said, standing and brushing himself off. He walked over to some flowers, sitting infront of them and staring at the beautifully withered flowers arrangements of flowers. Vincent gently reached out, holding one of the slightly withered flower petals before pulling his hand back. "I won't get much more time out here soon enough. Like these flowers. Winters almost here." He said quietly, watching the slightly withered flowers. He didn't know why he was telling his literal kidnapper this, but, he had figured they both had some sort of dirt on the other.... (Sorry it's short!) |

Cassius Abel - Cassius looked away from the prince, his jaw tightened. He didn't know why he had this sour taste in his mouth and raw hate coursing through him, the royal was getting married, it happens all the time. So why did he have a problem with it?
Cassius shook his head, the prince needed some form of comfort, that's what he was looking for, right? Not critique of his crazed family? Instead Cassius leaned forward, tearing the helmet from his head and throwing it across the garden, anger made his shoulders shake. "Fuck this! Why don't you go then? Run away from them? You think I don't know you get hurt by them? THERES NOTHING HERE FOR YOU!" he said, looking at the prince, rising to his feet, walking closer to the human.
Cassius stopped once he was in the princes face, "why don't you come with me? I can get you away from here" |

Prince Vincent Omveran ~~~ Vincent glanced at the vampire as he threw the helmet, exploding in anger. Vincent slowly glanced over to him, shaking his head slowly. "I... can not. First off, I don't trust you at the moment. Second, I can't leave here. They'll find me." He responds. Vincent looked at the ground and shook his head, standing up. "I can't." He repeated, turning and standing face to face with the vampire. "... You never told me your name. And you obviously know mine." Vincent reminded him quietly, staring into the vampires amber eyes. It was ironic, he had always been told vampires had red eyes. But that wasnt true, not of the one on front of him, who had bright amber eyes. |

Cassius Abel - Cassius listened to the prince, cold racing across his body, he was right, the human didn't trust him, something to work on. Cassius ruffled his hair stressfully with his hand, the vampire closed his eyes as the human asked for his name.
"... okay... it's,... Cassius" he said, opening his eyes slowly and looking at the human, hopefully this would make a small step into trusting territory. "What if I built up your trust in me? And I can make us truely disappear off the map, I have done it before" he said, thinking back to when he was first changed, wanting to get away. The human was so close infront of him, he could hear his heartbeat, strong and steady, but also uncertain. |

Prince Vincent Omveran ~~~ "Cassius..." He muttered, testing out the name quietly. "I still can't do that. I'm sorry you had to do it once before but a prince doesn't dissappear into nothing. And I can't leave... certain things here." He said, looking away. Vincent turned, "Sorry." He said, walking back toward the palace gates. Vincent stepped past the guards and sighed gently. His steps were brisk, strides long as he walked down the halls. He could hear Cassius following him. The metal wasn't quiet at all. (Sorry it's short again 😭😮💨) |

(np) Cassius Abel - Cassius felt something tighten around him with fierce lust as the prince said his name, trying it out. The emotion swirled deeply within before Cassius shut it down, this human hardly wanted to be around him, let alone with him, what couldn't he get that through his head? Cassius looked at the human as he spoke, his eyes widening if only for a few seconds before nodding and staring at the ground, the second time he failed to convince the prince. The vampire watched the prince leave, quickly walking with long strides back to where his stolen helmet was, picking up the rough metal in his hands, weighing it. Cassius slipped it on and growled, he was terrible at talking, just shit at it. He stalked forward, following the prince, this time closer with only a metre to spare between them. "No matter your decision, I will protect you" he said, the words whispered from the slits in the helmet, finding their way to the prince. |

Prince Vincent Omveran ~~~ Vincent sighed in annoyance. "You can't protect me after you kidnapped me." He muttered, continuing to walk down the hall. He paused when he spotted his mother talking to a gala planner, Aria. Who he knew from the village. His mother looked up and gestured him over. Vincent prayed she didn't care to much about Cassius following him like a lost dog. Vincent walked over to him, tucking his arms behind him. "Yes, mother?" He questioned, nodding at Aria in greeting. Aria smiled back and his mother sighed quietly. "We are planning the gala. If you have any specifics to add, speak now." She said, voice snippy. "... Can the theme be black?" He asked curiously. His mother sighed in disappointment. "Vincent, black does not compliment you." She said, gesturing for Aria to follow her. Vincent looked down. "Right." He muttered with a small eyeroll, walking forward and getting closer to his room. For once, he was thankful Cassius kept his emotions to himself. He did not want to deal with the vampire at that moment. |

Cassius Abel - Cassius made a face, "yes, but I didn't torture you, I just tied you up in my belt" he said, remembering the feral lust at the sight. They kept on walking until the prince paused, Cassius swinging right to avoid smashing into his back from the sudden stop. "Egh" he frowned, looked over to where the prince now headed, towards two ladies. Cassius stood closely behind the princes shoulder so that they were almost touching, listening to the conversation. as they walked away Cassius laughed, "Vincent, black does not compliment you!" He repeated in her snobby voice, Cassius sped up so that he was walking beside the prince, "I completely disagree" he said returning to silence. |

Prince Vincent Omveran ~~~ "You've never seen me in black." Vincent sighed. "And I dont look great..." He added with a small shrug as he made his way into his room, leaving the door open for Cassius to follow him. "Come on. I don't exactly want you climbing through my window again." He said, voice monotone as he walks over to his dresser, taking off a royal cuff and sighing. "So? Why are you protecting me?" He asked, eyebrow raised. |
