Matt shrugged, resting two fingers on the bottom of the steering wheel as he slowed to decide. "Anywhere we come across." He added, staring at the road absentmindedly. Soon enough they came across a fast food restaurant and he parked, albeit very recklessley, at the back of the car park, switching the car off. He got out soon after, waiting patiently for Elowyn before locking the car. "God you take a while." he mumbled, starting off towards the fast food restaurant, kicking a stone far across the car park, watching as it narrrowly missed a passing car.

Wyn nodded. "Sounds fine to me." She answered, tilting her head as they pulled into the parking lot. She slipped out just fine, shutting the door afterwards and rolling her eyes. "Why are you such an asshole?" She asked curiously. "Genuinely, I'd like to know." She continued, holding the door open for him.

Matt looked over at Elowyn, not uttering a word of thanks as she held the door open. "I could ask the same thing." He said with a smile, sitting down in a booth a little over in the corner. He handed his phone to her and leant back, staring out the window for a couple of seconds. "Get whatever you want" he said, bringing his gaze back to Elowyn. "And luckily for you, you're going to have to put up with it for an awful long time, because unless your parents suddenly decide they hate me, theres no chance of them stopping this whole...project thing." He added, shooting her a sarcastic smile.

Wyn rolled her eyes at him, tilting her head as he handed her his phone when she sat down. "Wow. Such a gentleman." She mocked, ordering herself some food on his phone and then giving it back with a huff. "Mmm. Not even I could be lucky enough for that to happen. Guess I'll just have to annoy you until it's over." She shrugged, crossing her arms and leaning back to shut her eyes.

"Shut up." Mattmumbled, taking his phone back. He ordered the food eventually and set it screen down, looking up at Elowyn. "Yeah I guess you will." He said sarcastically, pinching the bridge of his nose before diverting his attention back to his phone. Usually he would pick up on the fact it was rude to just stare at his phone whilst sat with someone else, but he really didnt need to care with her. Her opinions on him would clearly stay invalid. He looked down at the message from his mum, biting his lip with a smile. "I think theyve figured out that we've taken the car." he said, an amused look on his face. Matt was ready for the day-long lecture and then for it to mever be spoken of again. He leant back as the food was placed down, no word of thanks coming out his mouth, and instead just got to eating.

"I don't think I will." Wyn hummed lightly, raising an eyebrow at him as he pinched his nose. She pulled her own phone out- a simple text from her father asking if she was alright and longer, more emotional one from her mother. She ignored both for the time being, figuring she'd brush it off on Matt. She glanced up at him when he spoke, smiling. "I think so too. How bad is it gonna be for you?" She asked teasingly, thanking the waitress as she brought their food over. She gave Matt a little bit of side eye for not doing the same, but simply continued eating.

Matt didnt order much as per usual, so it didnt take him much time to eat. He pushed the bag the food came in aside to have more space, looking down at the message from his parents again. "Uhm," he started, unsure of how to answer. If he just said they simply didnt care, that would sound depressing. Then again, was he meant to care how he came off to Elowyn? No. "I'm not sure they care. Just a lecture and they'll forget about it." He shrugged, fiddling with his hair. It was perfectly dry now that they had been out for a while, and as a result unncessarily fluffy. Which he despised. "I dont suppose your parents will be too happy huh? They're precious perfect daughter carted off by a man they hardly knew?" He mocked, his tone and the expression on his face making it obvious he found the topic amusing.

Wyn picked at her food, not all that hungry for the moment. She watched him push the bag aside and tilted her head, moving to put her trash in it and then listen to him. She was a little confused- since when did he not know what to say? She bordered between pity and carelessness for him, so she simply nodded. "At least they wont linger on it, I guess." She responded, tracing small, circular patterns on the table. She chuckled at his comment on her parents, watching her finger trail over the table. "Dad will probably just be happy I'm alive. Mom will spew about how terrible you are as an influence, how your parents need to rein you in, blah, blah, everyone is criticized except her, y'know. Make a couple of snide comments about me needing to do better or being a whore or some shit, then drop it." She shrugged, leaning back. "Then hold it over my head for the next few decades." She grinned, looking his hair over and then glancing off. "How often do you do stuff like this?" She asked curiously, inspecting the lambo through the window.

Matt listened to Elowyns explanation, somehwat feeling..jealous? At least she madd it sound like her parents cared. His quite literally never did. "Hey she cant put the whole blame on me, you happily agreed to join me." He said, throwing his hands up with mock innocence. The comment about his parents reining him in stung only just a little, though they had always been a touchy subject for him. Not that he needed to tell her that. "Well good lluck with that then." He said with a small chuckle, swiping the call from his father away and turning hid phone tp be face down. "Uhm," he started, again unsure on how to answer her question. "I dunno. Enough for my parents to get used to it." He shrugged, sitting up properly, stuffing his phone in his pocket. "How often do you decide to actually go along with things like this?" He asked, intenionally copying her qiestion.

"Ohhh, but she can. And will." Wyn teased, chuckling softly. She fiddled slightly with her fingers as he continued, rolling her eyes playfully. "Thanks. Good luck to you too, sitting out that lecture." She answered, her tone light. She tilted her head as he pushed off the call from his father, nodding slowly at his answer. She shrugged at the question, moving to crack her knuckles. "This and the bike ride were the only two times. I've never been quite this 'rebellious'." She joked, using air quotes. She glanced at her phone and blew out a breath. 10 pm. "What's the plan now?" She asked lightly, glancing up at him and noting his hair again. So, so fluffy looking. It may have annoyed him, but she rather enjoyed it- if he were any other man, she would probably already have her fingers in it.
