Lol) +++ Chris looked up towards Annika,"No, im fine, i'll just be waiting outside" he smiled and walked back towards the front door. He slowly opened the door and walked towards the car. He opened the car door and sat down. Why did life have to be this way? Why couldnt his parents just let love happen naturally? He shook his head, -they probably know I couldnt fall in love without their help- he sighed and picked at the leftover food he had.

Annika shrugged. "Suit yourself" she made her way to the kitchens, throwing away her trash and grabbing a sip of water before leaving the room. She walked to her car then gazed out at the scenery. "I love it here" she murmured to no one in particular before sitting down. "Ok. So do we go back to your place now or do we hang around?"

"well we still have awhile left before we are needed back at my place so why don't we explore?" He turned the car on and drove out of the huge castle. He slowly pulled to a stop towards a park and brought out a map. "What's first on the list for today, anything you wanna see, well i mean you've probarly already seen it all since you live here" he chuckled

"Explore" she murmured. "Sure" she watched the castle disappear as they drove away. She had a sinking feeling in her gut that she wasn't going to see her brother again and it made her feel sick. "There's a lake I have always wanted to see not far from here." She pointed down the road. "I'll give you directions" she pointed different ways until they pulled up at the edge of a forest. "Trust me?" She asked before getting out. She walked up to the trees then started the trail between low hanging branches and brush. After a few minutes of walking, Annika pushed back a limb that revealed a gorgeous shimmering lake. "Here we are" she said

Chris laughed and followed her directions they reached the gorgeous lake and Chris walked out amazed, "This is amazing...." He slowly walked down towards the lake looking around in awe. "I can't believe something this magical exists" he thought for a moment about the forced wedding -this would be where i would have a wedding- he said to himself. It seemed the perfect place to have one as well.

Annika ignored Chris, walking down to the waters edge and slipping off her shoes. She dipped her toes in the cool water. "Wow. It's kinda cold" she stepped into the lake then fell back into the water. She swam around th en stopped, motioning for Chris to join her.

Chris looked at the water and back to Annika, "You want me to go in there" he pointed towards the crystal water that looked deathly cold. He took his t-shirt off knowing he didn't want to go home in a wet cold shirt and slowly walked towards the water. His toes hit the water first and he whinced. He then dived straight in, the water felt like thousands of knives piercing his skin. He slowly came up and breathed in the warm air deeply. He swam over to Annika and splashed her, "Couldv'e told me it was freezing" he joked sending another wave of water towards her.

Annika stared at him for a second when he took off his shirt, but she quickly looked away when he started getting in- one body part at a time. She grinned "it isn't freezing! It feels good! I don't know where you think you're living in cause this water is anything but cold!" She laughed then dove down and grabbed a flat pebble. She swam to the surface then tossed the pebble across the water.

Chris laughed at her, "This is freezing not anywhere near warmth". He swam around for a little and then swam back towards the land to sun bake. "This is my spot, in the warmth". He closed his eyes and pretending to drift asleep.

Annika rolled her eyes. She swam to the shore, laying down beside him but not too close. Her sundress was soaked. "I didn't think this through" she sat up and wrung out her hair and the bottom hem of her dress. "Oh this is bad" she wasn't exactly cold, but she wasn't warm either. she shivered then put her hands over her elbows
