"No, I wasn't uncomfortable. Just surprised. I feel the same way though, it's nice to feel the warmth of another person again." Dallas nodded lightly, offering her a pleasant smile. "But, that was an apology, so-" He slid his arm further around her waist and used his other hand to poke her midriff, near her belly button. "Stop doing that." He huffed, running his thumb gently back and forth over her ribs in an absent-midned way as they hit the halfway point of the bridge. It was concrete, and built for cars, so it was quite long.

Robin yelped slightly and pushed him a bit. "Meanie." She huffs, she then remembers someting and pulls away from his grip. She walks to the side of the bridge and then immediatly regrets her descion as she froze, staring off the edge into the water below. It seemed to shimmer in her eyes, he waves urging her to come with them. They were telling her to join them. AAs she had thought once long ago. She began to shake again and took a few rapid steps backward, breathing heavily. 'T-That's a long way down." She said, laughing lightly and trying to not show how terrified she was. She was already a girl, what if he thought she was less capable...? Edited at March 12, 2024 01:10 PM by Oakwood Barn

"It's your own fault." Dallas snickered, taking the push lightly and merely sidestepping for a moment before he fell back into line, grinning. He blinked as she pulled away from his side, clearing his throat and reaching up with his newly free hand to massage the back of his neck. He followed her hesitantly, unsure of why she had pulled away. He glanced over the side, behind her when she started backing up quickly. He let out a slight grunt as she backed into his chest, glancing down at her in surprise. He didn't say anything in response to her words, instead, he stepped back and gently turned her shoulders so they weren't facing the water. "Let's keep walking, Robin. It's alright." He said softly, setting his hand on her shoulder quietly.

Robin gulped and kept walking/being pushed across the bridge. She tried to calm herself down, telling herself sh had to try... for anyone and everyone that was left. She stopped abruptl, taking a breath then continuing on. "Sorry." She said. Trying not to sound mean or weak. She took another breath and kept her head down, taking long strides to walk the bridge quicker.

Dallas tried to be comforting and helpful without pushing or being demanding, but they had to get across sooner rather than later. He let her pause, his hand resting between her shoulder blades hesitantly. He couldn't tell if she hated his touch or wanted the support, so he settled with being afraid that she would smack him away. He paused for her, shaking his head quietly. "Stop apologizing." He huffed, poking her gently in the back, hoping to lighten her mood somehow. "I may as well carry you so you stop apologizing every five seconds." He joked, leading her onward.

Robin rolled her eyes. "Rude." She said once again, she steps off the bridge and sighs in relief. "Oh thank God..." She muttered, starting to walk toward a huge mall/shopping center looking place. The turnrounds. She walked to the gate and slipped through a small hole. She looked back as buck wiggled through it. She smiled and they waited for Dallas. "You think you're going to be able to make it through there?" She asked, smirking a bit.

"It's your own fault." Dallas repeated teasingly, smiling as she stepped off the bridge and removing his hand. "There. All done." He said lightly, breathing a slight sigh of relief. He followed her toward the shopping center they approached, glancing at Buck, who was close at his heels. He narrowed his eyes as she wiggled through a small hole his shoulders could barely fit through. Buck wiggled through after as though it were the easiest thing he'd ever done. He glared at her through the hole, hands on his hips. "Where there's a will, theres a way. You just wanna see me try to shimmy through." He huffed, kicking roughly at the area around the hole. He eventually made enough progress that he felt confident getting through. He kneeled and then made his way through easily enough. He landed on the other side and rolled onto his back, huffing. "There's no other way in?" He huffed, gently rubbing at his ribs.

Robin snorted as he shimmied through the hole, easier then before for kicking at it. "Nope!" She chirped, loving his annoyance. She started off thoward the mall, Buck in between her and Dallas. She looked around then started off toward a convience store. Getting to it she pulled out her knife and went inside, leaving Dallas and Buck outside. A few moments later and some thuds she walked back over, opening the door. "Only a few undead." She muttered, walking to a few of the aisles and things, checking food to see if it was any good.

"I hate you." Dallas grumbled sarcastically, getting to his feet and following her. He followed her lightly to the convenience store, glancing around warily. He watched her go in, following her through after a few moments. He gave her a nod when she confirmed she was still okay, moving to look through a few more aisles, Buck standing guard outside.

Robin found not much, but what she did find she stuffed into her bag, huffing. "Stupid..." She muttered, grabbing a piece of gum and beginning to chew it, she stepped out of the building nd looked around, finding another store she went to it quickly, forgetting about Dallas as she stepped inside, looking around warily. Seeing nothing she slowly made her way through the broken aisle's and broken halls, looking for food, or... anything.
