Rookie? Hmph. I'll know these lands at some point. He told himself quietly, slowing himself to prevent running right into Azra who had led the both of them to a water hole. Turkey, His tail slightly swayed at the sight of the birds, Aether had only had Turkey a few times and it was amazing...He so wanted to make a quick remark towards Azra for calling him Pup, but he had already moved away. Height shaming much, he huffed, lowering himself close to the ground as he stalked around towards the turkey nearest to the water despite the light and quite annoying stinging of his leg wound telling him to stop.
Aether continued forward, he was close enough to latch onto the turkey before it could go scampering off. After glancing at Azra to make sure he was in position Aether leaped forward, slamming the turkey to the ground in a clumsy off-motion movement as his jaws went for the turkey's neck. He stepped back a bit as the turkey flailed its talons, managing to scrape Aether, which defiantly made him upset...Aether quickly finished it off and looked around for Azra.

Azra waited for Aether to take his shot, watching the pheasants take off into the bushes. He quickly hurried to follow behind them, but took his time searching for the right one to attack.

After taking some of the turkey's feathers out he finally started eating it, Aether at least ate more than half of it before deciding he was full, he had eaten some of that pheasant earlier so that was probably his reasoning.
"Azra?" He said, walking in the opposite direction, Did the pheasants really give up that much of a chase? Where is he? "Azraaa!" Aether said, much louder this time, Wait a second...am I worried..? No, I'm never worried, Yeah... He looked around for Azra, pushing through bushes, "Im leaving you Azra." He said, joking of course... he started walking in the direction of the pack, hoping Azra would catch up with him.

Azra hadn't been that hungry, and had ate over half the pheasant before he couldn't stomach it any longer and carefully picked it up in his jaws, intending to carry it back for Kao or Venice, whichever he saw first, when he heard Aether calling his name. Groaning, he attempted to speed up, but now was the time his older wounds decided to make a reappearance, causing a sharp pain in his leg.

"Damn," Azra muttered through gritted teeth, limping as he walked.

Aether looked back to see Azra who was limping. "Come on, You walk like a snail!" He said, loud enough for Azra to hear.
He quickened his speed, After that hunting... He was worn out, even if he had fallen asleep for who knows how long when he sustained that injury. He thought about walking back to Azra to help him reach the pack, but it was funnier watching him limp, Aether was glad he hadn't gotten lost though, It did sound like something that would happen to him- well maybe... he knew his land better than Aether, watching carefully, he impatiently waited for Azra to reach the pack, as Aether had already gone ahead and gotten there first.

Azra grumbled as he finally reached where Aether had stopped, before stopping to look around. Kao seemed to be annoying Venice, a daily occurrence that made Azra snicker.

"Leave the omega alone," He said as he dropped the pheasant in front of the pup, whose tail immediately began to wag. The sight made Azra snicker again, slightly surprised at how similar their tastes were. Kao really did seem like he was his own pup, not that he really cared who's pup he was, every pup was his in some way or form.

" Thanks P-" Kao froze for a minute, eying Azra in a way that made him slightly uncomfortable. It was when the pup's eyes narrowed that he realized where this conversation was going, but before he could stop it..." You were running on your bad leg again! You know you almost broke it once, then it somehow actually did break, and your out there running on your leg like it's fine?!"

"Ive been running on my legs all day, Kao." Azra chuckled but nuzzles into the wolf when Kao whined pathetically, his attention on the pheasant lost." I'm fine, pup. Honestly."

Aether quickly followed after Azra, and there was that annoying pup again...he listened closely, I don't think this pup has any self-control. He thought, scooting closer to Azra. Aether put on a cheerful look and added to what Azra had just said. "Yeah, he's really fine, don't worry about it." his gaze flicked over to Venice, Omega. Oh, this is good. From what Cloud had said, his friend, Omega's were the lowest rank, below the rest. Thinking of Cloud, I need to visit her sometime, it's been a bit. He looked back at Azra, then at the pup, hes got a horrible attention span, Aether noted.

Azar went over the Venice next, ignoring the omegas stiff posture to nuzzle at his face. It was a habit, sue him, and he would continue to do it." Your good, right? And not mad at me because of a wolf that isn't even from our pack?" He asked lowly, teasing, frowning then when Venice didn't retort like he usually would. The omega genuinely seemed stressed, and it wasn't a good look on him at all.

"You like him, don't you." Venice asked after a moment of staring at Aether, then looking at Kao, who looked like he was struggling with the decision to go mess with him too or not.

Azra looked back at Aether, his head tilting." I mean, he's interesting, sure, but he did just try to kill me not even ten minutes ago. I don't think you've ever tried to kill yet, so you might be a bit higher on my good list."

Venice chuckled at the beta, a grin spreading across his muzzle." A little?" He taunted, making Azra growl playfully as he began to walk towards the other wolves near him." Just a little!"

(casually throws in an interaction of Aether with Kestrel(another one of my ocs who's basically his emotional support friend...let me know if you wanna see what she looks like, for reference :p)

Aether stared at Venice, I will have to find the right time to kill him, no one gets in my way. He held back his anger, and simply wandered around camp, after he had gotten bored of that he left the camp and went looking for one of his loner friends. Over the years, he had gained many many...friends, yep, there were a lot more loners than he ever expected. Out of all of them, only a few stayed in the area, which he didn't really mind, most of them he never talked to them again. Aether came up on the clearing, it wasn't very far from his own den, "Hello" Aether quickly said, Kestrel turned around, and a frightened look crossed her face. "Don't scare me like that! Couldn't you have at least let me know when you're coming?" She growled, walking over to him.

Azra does his usual rounds of checking up on all the other pack wolves, unaware that Aether had left, and then decided to settle down with the pups. There were nine in total, but only four had taken a strong liking to him. He played with them, watched them when their parents went out for a little alone time or to go on runs, and if things got bad he was usually the first wolf they ran to.

"Pa, where'd you come from? Papa told me your too big to be a normal wolf, and mama says she'd leave papa for you. Are you a...a...a two leg thing with those fancy sticks?"

Magician. Azra snickered, shaking his head at the pup." No, I'm not a magician. And you tell your mama that she's welcome to come on runs with me anytime." He teases, making the pup gasp mockingly." Pa, you can't have my mama!"

( I'm sorry but my baby sister calls our dad papa and her favorite uncle pa and that's what this reminded me of lol)
