Tyler sighed slightly. Yet again, he couldn't really disobey a direct order, so he went over to the shelves and peered at the books. Finally he chose one, walking over to a table near Sierra's and sitting down. He.. understood how just standing there could be creepy. He glanced at her as she asked the question, running his hands along the soft paper of the open book. "In Texas people usually have this accent. It is something that mostly comes just from how the people talk around you. For example, if I grew up here, I would sound like you. If you grew up in Texas, you would have the same accent I do. You tend to talk like the people around you." He explained quietly, forgetting to really hide his accent for once. He also didn't care explaining how he literally had to read books and take classes on proper grammar so he wasn't talking like he came from.. Texas.

"Cool, So what's Texas like?" She genuinely sounded curious now, Taking her focus off of her book. "Do people in Texas normally look as- Indimating? As you?" She looked away, That question was stupid "How did you- someone who worked with cattle, come to become a bodyguard?" Sierra had many questions now, She didn't know very much about Texas, Or Tyler, So she decided to take the time and try to get to know him, Maybe he wasn't as bad as he seemed.

Tyler settled back in the chair slightly, sensing he was going to be answering a lot of questions. He let a small, slightly amused smile prick at the corners of his mouth as she asked her first question. "Well... in some cases. It actually really depends on who your family is. Some people out there are about 5'2... and they look like a giant teddy bear... but they are one of the hardest working people out there. My family has always had tall, Menacing looking people. I was just... even more so. My dad was 6 ft, my mom was 5'10, my grandpa was 6'1, and so on." Tyler cleared his throat and started answering Sierra's second question. "You do have the right to know I absolutely hate being a bodyguard, if you haven't noticed already. I would much prefer to spend my days working on horseback, herding and branding cattle, then eating supper with a big family. The king ... we will say forced me to. He was looking for the strongest smartest guy, and apparently that turned out to be me. I was just thrown into the job..." Tyler looked slightly unhappy, but regained his composure quickly. "Which means I'm going to be stuck here for a while, so ask your questions away." He ran a hand through his thick black hair, glancing at the door every once in a while

Sierra felt successful in her attempt to make it up to Tyler, She believed that was the first time she'd seen him smile, Which made her a bit happy, She listened closely. "Why do you hate being a bodyguard?" She paused, thinking of another question she had stored in her memories, "I heard you can own a lot of different exotic pets in Texas, Is that true?" She wondered what it was like handling cattle, so there was another question, "What's it like on a farm? Do you have a lot of animals? What types? What do you use them for?" She had closed her book and was now paying full attention to Tyler.

Tyler cleared his throat. "Well.. I don't really like being around people, I don't care for royals, no offense, and I don't want somebody else's life to possibly depend on Howe good I do a thing my job." He answered. Tyler neglected to add in the part about how he 'also didn't like the temperamental woman that tried to make him feel bad and get angry any chance they got'. He thought that possibly might offend Sierra, so he held off on that. "Well... wouldn't say exotic. I own cattle, horses, dogs, chickens, turkeys, guineas, ducks, pheasants, and a chinchilla." He smiled slightly. "Okay, yes, most people don't have a chinchilla. That is my special pet." He shifted in his seat, thinking about home. This phrase was so true for him. 'Home is where the heart is.' "I use the cattle for food, the horses for herding the cattle and to breed, the dogs to herd the cattle, the chickens to eat, the turkeys just because they are hilarious, guineas because they eat a lot of ticks, ducks... I have no idea why I have ducks, pheasants because the pheasant population has gone down consideribly so I raise them and let the man go, and a chinchilla for no reason."

She did take offense to that, "Okay... Why don't you like being around people? And why don't you just quit the job, I would like a different bodyguard anyways." That was her way of getting her revenge, Making him feel bad, Especially after he offended her...She couldn't tell if she was successful though, But kept listening on. "I don't need a bodyguard." She muttered lowly, "A Chinchilla?" She had heard of them before, But never knew they were considered pets, "What happened to them? Who feeds them while you're here? And why do you even have Cattle?" She was just speaking her mind now, Which probably wasn't a good thing but oh well, It was to late now.

Ouch... Tyler could tell she was mad now. "I'm sure you would hate to know more, so I think we can end this conversation now." He grunted, standing up to go stand by the door again. Tyler had decided that if they weren't going to say anything nice... he wasn't going to listen.. or respond. So he just stood by the door, fiddling with a knife and hoping Sierra didn't get mad and throw a book at him or something. He almost decided to answer her questions... he sighed. "Okay, well, I know you won't listen now but I don't quiet because your father would most likely kill me, while I'm here my brother will be feeding my cattle, and I have the, because that's what I do. I'm a rancher, I raise cattle, eat some and sell others." He finished, looking away at the door.

Yup, She shouldn't have spoken her mind. Shit. She sighed, Sierra went back to attempting to read her book, But it just wasn't entertaining her, She slammed the book back on the table "I'm bored...entertain me or something" She said, Sierra couldn't focus on her book- or get interested in it, And now Tyler had gone back to his boring duty so she was left bored. Yet it was like this almost every, single, day, She sometimes hated being a royal, It really did suck some times, Just like right now, Nothing to do, Other than roam the castle- Even that sounded boring to Sierra.

Tyler raised an eyebrow. "Entertain you? You do know who I am, right? Wasn't I just exp,wining where I come from?" He asked, a slight teasing twinkle in his eye. "I don't entertain people. I'm not good at it, and I've never had to do it in my life. If you were bored back where I come from, you get a whipping. You get a whipping because if you are bored it means you are nit doing any work... and there is always work to be done." Tyler explained slightly, shifting his weight yet again. He had absolutely no idea what to do if she gave him an actual order to entertain her... he would probably just be a Texan and refuse. He didn't understand why people couldn't just sit still and think for a couple hours.. or how they go to bored in the first place.

Sierra looked over at him, "Pleaseeeee..." She begged, Sierra was very bored- and pretty desperate for some type of amusement. "Yeah where YOU came from, This is my place- Literally.." She snickered, It was the truth, She'd be queen eventually, Even though her father continued to negatively comment about her not being ready to be queen and blah blah blah... "Please.." She begged again, In a louder voice, Sounds terrible. She was glad she didn't come from where he came from Because she couldn't stand doing work all day, Well eventually she would but still, Sierra yawned brushing her hair away, She impatiently waited for a response from Tyler, If he turned her down again- She had no idea what she'd do. Probably annoy him, That sounded like fun to her.
