Sage felt his jaw drop at sight of the house, though he quickly shut it and stepped inside after the girl, looking around with wide eyes. It had been so long since he'd been in a home, a real home ..and his childhood home definitely wasn't much more than a small shack. This was...amazing, really. The younger girl broke him from his thoughts when she ran to her mother, and he winced sympathetically. He knew all too well about nightmares, though he hoped that he'd sleep better here than in the cell.

Cassandra puts Annie down and Annie walks to sage grabs his hand said " come with me I'll show you where you are going to sleep " Cassandra smiles before heading off into the kitchen and pays the babysitter before she got sent off Cassandra sighed and got a glass of water before looking through her mail for anything but froze to one letter Annie dad why did he write me she through before dropping it into the trash and walks away

Sage almost flinched away from the younger girl but then smiled and bent over, letting her lead him around the house to whatever room he'd be staying in. "Thanks kiddo," he hummed when she showed him the room, and once she'd left he looked around wonderingly. He was tired, but he decided to take a shower first. He was dirty, and the bed was clean. Besides, he hadn't had a good bath in a long time, so it was definitely nice to have one.

Cassandra walks in to Annie room and picks her and puts her inside before reading a story and said " good night sweetheart " Annie said " good night mommy " Cassandra got up walks out turning off the lights before she close the door and when into the kitchen and sighed as she pours herself something to drink while she pulls the letter out of the trash and reads it Cassandra cursed he was coming to town and wanted to meet his own daughter Cassandra shakes her head and through - he is not going to see Annie no matter what -

Sage got out of the shower pretty quickly and then crawled into the bed. He was surprised at how comfortable it was ...it was much better than the cot in his cell, for certain. He fell into the bed and curled up under the blankets, sighing happily. He was asleep within minutes, comfortable for the first time in a long time.

Cassandra finished her drink before she when to take a shower and goes to bed but woke a hour later with Annie crawling in and Cassandra helps before they bother went to sleep by morning Cassandra woke to loud banging as she got up wraps a blanket around her and heads for the door before realizing sage was still here and she over slept Cassandra looks through the door window yep it was the leader Cassandra had to act cool but first she had to hide sage

Sage had woken up with the sun. He was still tired, though he felt better than he had in a while. He had slept pretty well, and he was clean, and in a safe place, so he felt better than he had in a while. That was, until he saw the leader walking to the front door. He sort of squeaked and drew back, sliding into the corner and curling up, much like he had curled up in the cell. He was quite honestly terrified of the man, and he knew whatever the outcome, if he found him here, it wouldn't be good.

Annie came to the door and opens it before walking over and said " come with Mei got a good place for you to hide " Annie giggles and walks away Cassandra said " I am surely going to hurt that man" as she was getting her dagger in case something happen or he trys something Cassandra heard another bang and said " I am coming hold your horses!" Then shakes her head before looking at the door

Sage blinked at the girl, not sure what she could possibly know about good hiding places but then he supposed he should probably listen. He sighed and got up, following the girl to...wherever they were going. He flinched and almost cowered against the wall at the banging at the door, but then scurried after the girl again, heart climbing in his throat. He should help Cassandra....he'd gotten her into the mess, after all. But he didn't see how.

Annie leads him to a room before unlocks a hidden door and said " go in there they won't find the door only me and mommy knows it " as she goes in and curls up into a corner scare Cassandra opens the door and said " what the hell man " leader said " out of my way you holding the guy in here" as guards cam in before she caught sighed of Annie dad and froze before he walks towards her and said " answer you leader Cass " Cassandra said " no I left right after you he was still in the cage "
