She stayed quiet for a moment, trying to figure out how to say it. "Was hunting, saw some patrols, went to hide, one of them dragged me out BUT, here's the good part, A.) they think i'm dead B.) they didn't reckognize me." Elara explained, a small smile on her face.

Sage friends slightly when she mentioned there were patrols in the area. "Good," he noted when she said they didn't recognize her. "That was probably what I heard the other day," he added, thinking. It wasn't good that patrols were starting to show up by their cabin... It wasn't going to be long before someone did recognize her or people started investigating them and their home. He didn't know what to do about it, though.

She nodded, shrugging her lightly snowed on cloak off and onto a chair, setting her bow and quivel down. "Didn't hunt anything, it was too risky, after all that." Elara explained, smiling softly as Liz tossed a doll at him.

Sage nodded with a grunt of agreement, picking up the doll that landed in his lap and turning half his attention over to playing with Liz, stifling the yawn that formed on his lips. "Don't risk it," he agreed tiredly. "We'll figure something out. For now maybe stick close to the cabin. Get birds and rabbits and squirrels, don't try for any big game. Just in case they come back through," he suggested.

Elara nodded, letting a snow ridden Varys inside, the wolf trotting over to the fireplace before settling down. "Yeah, I better. Everything's dead, berries, really anything that actually is enjoyable to eat." She mused, picking a piece of ice out of under her nail.

Sage nodded with a sigh. "And it's too risky to go to town now for you," he noted, coughing for a moment and then catching his breath before continuing. "And I don't think I'd make it the way I am now. Soon maybe, but not for a while," he sighed, scooping Liz up as she grew tired and settling her back in her bed before flopping down on the bed himself. "You know, I still feel bad taking your bed for so long," he noted with a chuckle.

|
"You will, eventually. That medicine should help, speaking of, did you already take some today?" Elara questioned, fiddling with the green glass bottle on the table. She smirked when he noted about taking her bed so much, shaking her head lightly as she shed her cloak off and onto one of the chairs. "Oh please, I still haven't figured out how you sleep in a chair all the time, and I promise you, i'm taking that bed back once you're all healed up."

|
Sage grunted with a nod before shaking his head as she mentioned the medicine. "Not yet," he admitted with a yawn. "Slept most of the day still," he added, reaching for the bottle when she mentioned it. He did chuckle when she mentioned taking the bed back, though that did make him cough a bit. It sounded better already though, and didn't hurt quite so much now. "It's better than dirt or a rock for a pillow," he noted with a shrug. "I find it plenty comfortable." The bed was much nicer, but it was hers, and that was fine.

|
She smiled softly at the noticable improvement of his laugh, chuckling lightly herself. "I mean, you're not wrong. I've had to camp out on rocks numerous times, terrible stuff. Wouldn't suggest making beds or anything out of them---though I must admit, the beds at the palace feel like sleeping on stone." Elara mused, wincing slightly at the thought.

Sage chuckled and nodded with a yawn. "Mm, yeah I did find the one in my room slightly less comfortable than I'd imagined," he admitted, voice laced with amusement.
