"Zephyr said so!" She smiled and stood next to Zephyr until they got in the truck. Ryan texted her. "You good?" Sophia glanced down "yep. On the way now. Don't worry. I'll be fine" she placed her phone down on her lap then leaned back against the seat.

Once at the house Zephyr and Wesley stepped out. Zeph jokingly opened the door for Sophia, already sort of back to his old ways. He was feeling so much happier now that he was right with her. And she wanted to be near him. That helped. Heading into the house, there was a small entryway area with coats and shoes and boots all tucked away nicely. To the right a closed door, to the left another closed door, and straight ahead a doorway to what seemed to be a kitchen. Zephyr took off his boots and glanced at Sophia before walking into the kitchen. Again, to the left, a dining room, and to the right, a living room. He went into the living room and stopped there. On the right side of the spacious living room there was a staircase, and on the left side another closed door.

Sophia grinned. "Thank you kind sir" she joked. Sophia glanced around, her eyes taking in the beautiful house. "You're house is really pretty" she carefully took off her sneakers and put them beside Zephyrs. She followed Zephyr around the house, pausing beside him.

Zephyr inclined his head with a smile. "Always my pleasure." He answered, glancing at her with an snort at her words. "Well thanks, but I dunno if that's true. It's rather normal." He glanced around at the wood paneling, the smooth toned colors- it was simple, yet nice. "Do you want to go upstairs? There's a small common room." He asked, pausing as his mother walked in. +Too late+ he thought. "Oh is this Sophia? Wesley called and said you'd be coming! Welcome. My name is Joy. Lovely to meet you." The woman smiled. Her dark, smooth, pretty features were framed with the same black hair as Zephyr's. "I'm making lasagna. Do you like that? It may not be how you're used to it- I make it without cottage cheese." Zephyr chuckled quietly at his mother's exuberant attitude. Well, she had been named Joy.

Sophia smiled then hesitated when the woman walked in. "Hello. And I love lasagna!" She felt her phone vibrate in her pocket but she ignored it. "One problem... where's the dining room?"

Joy smiled widely at the girl's words. "Good!" She commented cheerily before turning around and heading back into the kitchen. Zephyr chuckled quietly at the two. "Right on the other side of the kitchen. Our house is much like a box in that way." He answered. "The lasagna won't be done for about 15 minutes. Come on." He gestured towards the stairs, climbing up them. Now, the upstairs wasn't an attic, but it gave the woodsy quiet feeling of one. Just a single circle, there was a TV and a single couch with a cozy looking chair to one side. Then, in a ring around the *main room* were four doors- bathroom, two younger brothers, younger sister, and his bedroom. "It's a lot like yours, actually. Just smaller." He commented. The place wasn't cramped, but it was cozy.

"Ooh ok" she surveyed the room before following him upstairs. "It's just like mine" Sophia sat down on the couch and curled up against the arm of the couch. "So comfy. Much better than mine" she teased. Her phone buzzed again. She pulled it out and turned off the ringer without seeing who texted or what they said.

(Who's texting lol? I'm worried now! XD) +++ Zephyr glanced around. "It is similar to yours." He agreed, nudging the door closed to his room before walking over. "I beg to differ. Your couch ISN'T that uncomfortable, no matter what you say." He chuckled lightly, glancing at her phone. "None of my business, but who was it? Isn't this the third time it's buzzed?" He asked quietly, his head tilted.

(The suspense hehehe) - Sophia gasped, her hand covering her mouth. "Ryan- he- it's Mom-" she trembled. "She's in the hospital " she said quietly. "I need- I need to get there" she stood and absentmindedly made her way down the stairs. "Where do I go?" She turned to Zephyr, a terrified look crossing her face. She had to get to the hospital.

What's wrong with Abby!?!?!)) - Zephyr's eyes widened slightly as Sophia's face turned to absolite horror. "Oh no- I'll drive you." He said quickly, all but running downstairs. "Dad, I have to take Sophia to the hospital. Something is up with her mom. She doesn't have a car here." He explained in three short sentences, pulling on his boots and opening the door before getting in his truck as Sophia did, then quickly driving to the hospital.
