"I'm great with questions. Remember. I live with younger twin sisters and two older siblings who have seen absolutely nothing as well as my parents who have seen everything. I'm an expert at answering questions" she grinned "and I always want to hang out with you. Although there was one major- two major downsides to you being gone..." she hesitated "Izzy and Blake are back at school but Izzy is leaving by next week. Blake and I talked a little bit but I'm still not to sure about him yet. I think he understands that now"

Zephyr chuckled at her words, looking amused. "I remember." He answered, then smiled, his dark blue eyes twinkling. He then tilted his head and looked a little concerned when she spoke again. "It's good that he's at least trying to understand." He commented quietly, glancing back at the sky, where the sun had almost fallen below the trees. "I hate to say it but my father may just ditch me if I wait any longer. Hopefully I'll see you tomorrow sometime?" Zeph asked.

"Let me come! I wanna meet your Dad. " she gave the most pitiful face she could then jumped up. "Please please please? I promise I'll be good!" She looked at Zephyr then out past the vines. "But yeah. Tomorrow." She smiled and waved her phone around before shoving it in her back pocket. "I WILL be calling you later. Be prepared"

"Yikes, okay, you can't keep changing your mind. You CAN come over if you want, but if you don't want then just text or call me later." He answered, chuckling slightly.

"Why wouldn't I want to?" Sophia tilted her head with a smile. She always smiled around Zeph. Why? She didn't know. Sophia walked toward the vines, pulling one to the side and watching the sun disappear behind the trees

"Okay then. Would you like to come have dinner with us? I believe we're having steak tonight." Zephyr commented, tilting his head as he pushed himself up with one hand and ducked out of the space, starting to slowly walk back. He glanced towards Sophia to hear her words.
|

|
|
|
"I would love to!" Sophia took a few small steps, stumbled then straightened "I'm ok" she glanced over at Zephyr before returning her gaze to the ground. She had learned that looking anywhere but the ground resulted in her face being ON the ground.

"Okay-" He stopped as she stumbled, and realized he was on her left side so even if he tried he probably would just bash his broken shoulder into the ground. Zeph sidled over to her right side and continued walking, though he glanced at her to make sure she wasn't going down. A few minutes later a truck came into view, with his father just standing there, obviously waiting. His father lifted both eyebrows. "Sophia, I presume? Wesley Lawrence, nice to meet you." He held out his hand for her to shake.

Sophia smiled. "Hello Mr. Lawrence." She shook his hand then turned to Zephyr. "I have to call Ryan real fast. Gimme a second" she took a few steps back then pulled out her phone. She held the phone to her ear while it rang. "Hey Ryan. I think I'm going to have dinner at Zephyrs house. If I can't I'll text you" Ryan's voice came over the phone "ok. Sounds good. "

Wesley nodded at Sophia then turned to Zephyr. "I find it funny that you assume we're having dinner." He snorted. Zeph ran his good hand through his hair. "Umm... maybe I can make something." He ventured with a small smile. Wesley chuckled. "Don't worry. Your mother is baking a nice dish tonight." He answered. When Sophia was done with the phonecall they loaded up into the truck and headed towards Zeph's home. A small house way back in the woods, surrounded by 40 acres of nothing.
