Regan glanced up at him for a moment flashing a tired but happy smile. "Yeah, look at you," she chirped happily to him before letting her head rest back on him again. When the sun actually started to show itself, she turned her head to hide her eyes from the sun as they adjusted, but soon enough was looking up at it again, in a kind of trance like state. She was happy... very happy. She was comfortable, and she felt safe... and she couldn't help but the think that was trust because Tyler was here, lightly holding onto her.

Tyler's eyes started to drop again, but he forced them open. He wasn't going to miss a sunrise because he may have been a little tired. Tyler watched the sun go higher and higher into the sky until blue streaks lit of the sky and the black disappeared altogether.

Regan looked over to him after a bit longer, a bit of a chuckle escaping her. "You're still tired?" She asked softly before giving a small hum and moving to place a hand on his upper back so that he wouldn't flop back. "Go lay down," she told him with a small hum.

"No, and I'm not going to fall oout of the tree." Tyler snorted, shaking his head. "I'm very much awake and not tired at all." Tyler joked, chuckling. He closed his eyes a moment and breathed in the air, something that had always woken him up more. "Plus it's impossible for me to fall asleep when it's light out, no matter how tired I am or hpw hard I try." Tyler commented

Regan huffed out a breath at him before rolling her eyes. "But, Tyler, I don't know if that's true. You have an arm wrapped around me, so if you fall I'm just going to assume you want to pull me down with you," she complained to him before shrugging and giving an amused chuckle. She cocked her head at his next comment and shuffled further up the branch with a hum, where she leaned against the thickest hit and crossed her legs. She patted the small space between them. "Come lay down. It's only like six o'clock in the morning. It'll be darker here, and I'll share you from the light anyway," she mused lightly. Edited at May 16, 2023 11:00 PM by Belle

"I'm not going to fall, and I would never be cruel enough to pull you with me." Tyler snorted, looking amused. "There is this little thing called letting go." Tyler joked. "Plus I'm sure I would miraculously catch myself on a branch." He chuckled, glancing up as Regan scooted away. "I'm not falling asleep again, it's fine. Maybe I'll just go for a walk." Tyler offered with a shake of his head. He sat up and swung his legs away from the branch, ready to drop down. "See ya." Tyler smiled, dropping down a couple branches, catching himself, swinging down a couple more, then leaving the leaves and landing on the ground with a huff. Tyler looked slightly annoyed with himself, remembering it might be a little hard for Regan to get down, so he looked up in the tree to see if she was coming or staying.

Regan stuck her tongue out at him. "Boo, I'm being nice and you refused my niceties!" She complained to him before waving him off. "And you wouldn't have let go," she added with a huff. "It's call natural reflexes, Ty," she mused lightly. She leaned back once he'd left, closing her eyes and forcing herself to drift off the sleep again... it was still early, and they didn't really have to be anywhere... so she couldn't just relax for a little... or a long while.

-Hey... who... what... when... why... TY?- Tyler thought, his eyebrows raising. With that disturbing thought in mind he stalked off through the bushes. "Tyler, and Ty. No nicknames." Tyler muttered to himself, shaking his head. He mineswell hunt when he was walking... but he just wanted to walk now. Tyler absorbed the sunshine and the shadows, watching the wildlife.

Regan slept for the next hour or so before finally forcing herself awake, giving a soft groan and a stretch... she supposed she'd have to start working if food eventually. She crawled down to the lowest branch, staring at the large jump down, though eventually managed to hang and drop, before scuttling over to her little station to start up some kind of breakfast for everyone.

Tyler finally stopped wool-gathering and found a couple rabbits, killing them quickly. He carried them back and went over by Regan, skinning them and cutting off the main meat parts. "Do what you wish with them" Tyler offered, setting the meat down. Tyler disposed of the skins and guts and bones and unwnated meat, then walked back to Regan. "Anything else you need done?" He asked
