Ethan's ribs and mostly his entire left side were burning like hell but, he was determined not to fall behind Asta. He was not expecting all the kids there, but he should've. He almost screamed out of fear when he saw all of them. Using the Lord's name in vain before he stood up straight. He glanced around, seeing the extra horse and Zeus, which he miraculously had the energy to run to and see. Zeus! Zeus stumbled to him and nosed him in a hug. "It's okay, you don't need to fly me home brother," he said softly. "I'm sorry I wasn't here." He murmured, stepping backward to find Asta, his half asleep dragon preparing himself to fly.

"Castor is going to try and help Zeus to get somewhere where he can wake- far enough away that he isnt going to get caught by the lumbering idiots who are very close behind us. Theyre going to head toward the nearest farm, and Keith is going to stay with us. Hes the one who was shooting, as well as Fitz and Biana. We're going to follow Castor and Zeus in case something goes wrong. Got it?"

Ethan didn't look like he was following along much. "Okay." He looked at all the kids, taking the reins of the riderless horse (can't remember if it was one or two haha *cry*). It look him a moment but he hopped up onto it. He twirled the horse around easily and held a hand down to Asta and helped her up. He looked around at the clones. "Thank you, and nice shot Keith." He smiled at them all. He'd probably never verbalize the terror he'd been feeling on the inside that Asta hadn't seen. He was so glad that she had a plan, and that he'd believed in her.

"Awh, you dont wanna ride double with my baby brother?" She leapt up behind Ethan, wrapping her arms around his waist like it was the normal thing to do. Keith rolled his eyes. K "At least someone appreciates me, Asta." He shooed his younger siblings on. All of them rode off ratjer proficiently, making good time. "I appreciate you! I only asked you to risk your life, like, once in the last month." Castor nudged Zeus to his feet and tilted his head, assuming Zeus couldnt fly. K "I havent seen you in a month." "Exactly!"

"I didn't know that one was an option," He smiled softly. watching the siblings interact a for a minute, then the younger clones as they rode off. He watched Zeus and Castor, Zeus was visibly upset that his wings were so tired. Complaining about how he didn't like walking as he groggily moved off, like it might wake him him. "Talk and walk." He said, lightly nudging his horse, who fearlessly trotted to the dragon's side. Zeus was at a ..a fast trudge. Ethan was also visibly upsetted by watching his precious dragon suffer. Even if he probably wasn't hurting.

She set her chin on his shoulder. "He's going to be okay, Ethan." She whispered, watching Castor as he put himself under Zeus's wing, and put his own over Zeus's back to try and help him along. He took the whole process up to maybe.. a sad speed walk?

"I know." He put a hand on her hands. Zeus wanted to go faster, but he was hardly going fast at all. He narrowed his eyes and looked ahead, glancing at Keith for a minute. He occupied his mind with what direction should they go. His mental map for this far out wasn't too good. He didn't really remember what directions they went from the school either anyway which pissed him off a little.

She sighed and watched the sad scene. Castor tilted his head at Zeus, trying to figure out what he could do to help him along faster. He looked rather disturbed by the fact that Zeus could barely keep up with a trudge on his own. Asta kept her face expressionless, but Keith didn't have quite the same grace. He couldnt tear his eyes away from the dragons, a frown creasing his face.

Etthan was having a conversation with Zeus, telling eachother about what happened. His mind was patchy but slowly getting more alert. Ethan didn't look disturbed by it anymore, he could feel Zeus now. Asta's hand pacement was aching but he didn't day anything. Zeus was still just wearing off the effects of whatever tranquilizer was used on him, soon enough he might be alright to fly for a little.

Asta glanced over her shoulder and moved her hands from his waist, spinning around so her back was to his. "Toss me a bow and quiver, Keith." Keith obliged, and Asta caught them easily. She put the quiver over her shoulder and stared at the trees they were slowly leaving behind.
