Sage snickered at her comments and hummed happily. "You're pretty," he hummed. "And you're nice," he added with light laugh. "And for some reason, you were stubborn enough to get to know me," he noted with amusement. He let her pull him in a bit more happily, curling up and into her with a hum. Then, unable to stop his mischievous thoughts from working down to his mouth, he grinned up at her, eyes taking a more mischievous glitter to them. "I can make all sorts of fun," he mused lightly. She'd know what he was hinting at...it probably wouldn't go anywhere, especially since they'd had their fun only a few days ago, and he was honestly still a bit sore from it....but he could play all the same. And he'd figure out a way to steal a few kisses from her if he could help it.

Mari grinned down at his comments, a light blush painting her cheeks. "I am very pretty," she joked, then backed up his other comments teasingly. "And I am wonderfully nice," she giggled jokingly. The then pouted at him with an amused hun. "Buuutt, I was kinda sorta forced to know you," she teased him softly, knowing full well that a lot of it was on her... she didn't care. She loved their relationship, and the way he made her feel when she was around him, so she was more than happy to take full responsibility regarding them getting together the way they had. She looked down at him curiously before shrugging quietly. "Hmm... I'm fairly sure I make the fun," she joked softly. "But it would be interesting to hear what sorts of fun you're on about," she mused in a playfully innocent manner.

Sage hummed in agreement in response to her first comment, then chuckled when she said she'd been forced to get to know him. "Mari, even I know that you were too stubborn to let me just do as I pleased and that's why you kept getting to know me," he snorted in an amused tone of voice. "The doctor said be nice, he didn't say rewrap bandages or clean my wounds or stay in the same room at night because I'd wake up and freak out," he added with a eye roll. He hummed lightly in response her next comment and shrugged slightly. "Well, let go of my head and maybe you'll find out," he mused, a sort of flirty tone to his comment, sort of like some kind of teenager would flirt. It was all just fun. Of course, he wouldn't exactly mind if it did go somewhere, but it would probably just be playing around a bit.

Mari hummed softly to the boy before letting out a heavy breath. "He told me to stay with you! You're the one that crawled into my bed," she argued, a bit of a chuckle escaping her lips. "And it was my job to make sure none of his patients got infections, so bandages and cleaning wounds was technically what I was meant to do," she hummed thoughtfully. "And, if I remember correctly, I was told to keep and eye on you so that you didn't hurt yourself. Or anyone. Or smash any plates," she told him with a bit of a hum. It was a little bit amusing... she was told to do all of those things, but the bits after that was all her. "However, once you were all better it was on me. Then you got me pregnant and preposed so I couldn't exactly walk off then, not that I wanted to or anything," she chuckled softly, then pouted when he told her to let go. She fiddled with his hair for a moment before giving bit of a grin and holding her hands up so that she wasn't touching him, her happy grin turning into a sort of curious looking smirk.

Sage chuckled lightly and shrugged. "maybe so," he mused. "But you certainly didn't have to do anything more than that," he noted with amusement. He snorted at her comments after that, rolling his eyes again. "Well, you asked for it," he huffed. "If you hadn't been interested it wouldn't have happened," he pointed out happily. He grinned at her when she held her hands up, the sudden idea to move so he was sort of straddling her, grabbing her hands and pressing them lightly against the bed, a devilish grin taking over his features. He was playing around of course, but if it led somewhere he certainly wouldn't mind.

Mari groaned at his comments, but soon enough gave a bit of a snort. "You were wanting it too!" She retorted, but clearly want upset... she was so happy things turned out the way they had, really she was. She was glad for all of it. Her life had turned out so much better than she was expecting it to be... and all seemed so fast. In the space of about six years, she'd found the most wonderful man, had a baby, gotten married, bought a house, Sage had gotten his horses up and running, and before they'd known it they'd had little Liz... and they weren't really struggling too much money wise. It all seemed too easy, and she couldn't be more glad for it. She sort of let out a yelp when she felt him roll her over, a slight blush spreading across her cheeks as she sort of registered what was happening. "Sage!" She squeaked up at him, a kind of laugh escaping her.

Sage couldn't help it when his grin widened at her little squeak, something inside of him sending a shot of satisfaction through his body when he noted her blush. He couldn't help but chuckle either... Nor could he help but lower his eyelids in a rather flirty sort of devilish look he knew would only fluster her more. "What's wrong," he purred, eyes glittering happily. He was still just teasing, and playing around, but hey, they could always go somewhere with this. He felt rather good this morning, and the kids were still in bed, and would be for a while yet....and he was in a mischievous mood. So why not play around for a while? She'd wanted entertainment....and she'd started the teasing actually, so he was more than happy to carry it on for a bit.

Mari sort of gazed up at him with a rather... bewildered look across her face. She kind of gave a groan of complaint when she realised she was stuck, and huffed out a heavy breath. She caught his look and her face sort of heated up even more, given that he'd not really played about with her in this sort of way before. She furred her brows in a sort of playful innocence when he asked a question. "I can't move," she huffed to him after a few moment, kind of pushing back in his hands to shift, but obviously failing... she wasn't upset, though, if anything, it was amusing.

Sage couldn't help but widen his grin when the girl's face turned even a darker shade of red. He didn't do this very often, since he really wasn't used to this sort of position...but he was in a sort of mood he supposed, so why not play around? If anything happened, she'd flip him around soon enough, he was sure. He hummed lightly at her complaint, cocking his head slightly at her, eyes glittering. "I dunno, I think I might like it like that," he hummed, sticking his face close to hers, smirk only growing. "What are you gonna do about it," he purred, really just enjoying playing around a little bit. And , she was looking pretty close to a tomato at that point, so she seemed to be enjoying it too.

Mari groaned at his comment, seemingly enjoying the fact that he'd actually had her pinned down... it was normally only light, so she could still wriggle around, but her actually pinned her arms down now, and moved to wrap her legs around his sides with a small huff, then sort of pulled his torso towards her with a small tug. "I think you're liking this too much," she told whim with a small pout, then shook her head quietly. Her blush thickened when he stuck his face close to hers, if that was even possible at this point. She just sort of went quiet at his comment, a little bit too flustered to actually say anything. She stammered something out, though she wasn't entirely sure what.
