"Yup, a-okay." She murmured, helping up and back inside before settling him back on the bed and fetching a glass of water, as she was sure all the coughing would've dried his throat out. Elara didn't say anything about the market, or about Dorian, or really... anything else besides how she went and came back.

Sage wasn't sure she was telling the truth, but by the time she helped him flop back into the bed, he pretty well just passed out again. Just walking that far had used all his energy. He woke a while later though, and his chest didn't hurt quite so much, which was good. Maybe this new medicine she found was working after all. He hoped so.

Elara was asleep at the table, quill still in hand as she propped her head up on her hand. Bags were light under her eyes, and a faint scowl was on her expression.

|
Sage noticed her, and sort of moved to place a blanket over her shoulders. That was all he had the energy to do, but he felt bad she'd been doing so much and he's just been laying around.

|
Elara stayed asleep, head resting on her arm now.

|
Sage wished he could help her up and over to the bed....if he wasn't currently nearly dead he would have picked her up and brought her over. As it were, he didn't trust himself.so he settled for the blanket, and gently taking the quill and putting the things away, though he was careful not to read anything she'd written in case it was personal.

Elara stayed asleep, Varys walking in and sitting in the doorway before watching Sage. That was the thing about him. Always...watching. Always...waiting. Always...lingering. The woman shifted slightly, muttering something incoherant.

Sage sort of sighed when the wolf came to the door. "I don't suppose you can help around the house, hey bud," he mused tiredly, knowing he really couldn't. He did call Liz inside for a nap though, since he knew they'd both need to go to bed soon.

When Liz didn't come in, Varys trotted off, coming back a few minutes later nudging her inside. He vanished once more, Elara waking up.

|
Sage settled Liz down in her crib before crawling back onto the bed and passing out again himself. He was glad the wolf was there to help out .. He had a feeling it would be harder without him here.
