"I love you too," He said back, the waitress coming back with the check.
| |
| |

Rose snatched the check, grabbing ehr card out of her purse and paying for it
| |
| |

Caden glared at Rose, a smug expression on his face as he quickly exchanged her card for his and the waitress took the check away. "Don't think I told you but uh, I pay,"
| |
| |

"No. Caden, I don't wanna owe you anything!" She huffed
| |
| |

"You won't ever owe me anything though, if I can buy or pay something for you, i'm doing it." He explained, squeezing her hand softly. "Besides, moments like this are like gold to me."
| |
| |

"I don't wanna upset you..."
| |
| |

Caden huffed a laugh, honestly kind've shocked. "Why. . . why would I be upset with you? Upset with the girl of my dreams and mother of my kid? I don't think so,"
| |
| |

"Because I wasn't greatful enough last time..."
| |
| |

"That was. . . that. . . that was different, had a lot of stuff going on. Anyway, leaving you was honestly the worst mistake I made, and I hope you know i'm sorry about it." He explained, the waitress bringing his card back.
| |
| |

"It doesn't matter what I think anymore."
