Kai immedietly jumped into action but was gentle with her, kissing and nipping her neck as they began

Kai held her close after all of it, rubbing her back gently. "I love you" He said, just like old times. And he meant it, too. From the bottom of his heart. "I missed you so much"

She breathed heavily, curled in his arms. She couldn't say it back yet. It was too soon. "I missed you too," she whispered, studying his face. "We shouldn't do this..." she whispered.

"I did warn you. Would you like to go home?" He offered softly, holding her close still and rubbing her back gently

Lorelei shook her head. "No... don't make me go yet..." she whispered.

"Please, stay as long as you'd like" He said softly, pecking her temple

"... If I stay... will you promise me you won't ever do that again?"

"Of course. I...regret more than you'll ever know what I said to you...how I acted. I blame the drinks but really, I was just being a dick. I'm so sorry, Lorelei. What can I do to help you forgive me? I promise I will never send you out my door again. I'll kill myself if I do. Or even better, I'll give myself over to your father to let him have free shots at me or hurt me. I'm so sorry, Lorelei, I really am." He said, now trying to hold in the tears of regret once more. "You're the sweetest, kindest, smartest, most loving and beautiful person I know."

Lorelei smiled softly, leaning up to cup his face. "No more drinking, no more smoking, no more guns?"

"I need guns to protect you if absolutely necassary. No drinking, no smoking, nearly no guns. Is that an alright exception? Life or death situation?" He asked softly, looking in her eyes truthfully

Lorelei nodded. "Okay," she smiled softly, just happy to have him back.
