Trixie took her time walking home, enjoying the nice temperature. It was a rather uneventful night at home, searching for free dorms on campus or people looking for roommates. As much as she loved her parents, she wasn't sure she could last much longer with the 'How are you, honey?'s as though she might explode at any given moment. It took her a few minutes to see his message, and she smiled faintly when she read it. "Well, if you asked earlier then it wouldn't have happened." She responded, going back to her computer lightly.

It took Matt a good thirty or so minutes to actually get back to Trixies reply, he had gotten himself lost in the boring data input, then distracted by talking to Layla. He picked his phone up after a while, shifting his laptop away from in front of his arms so he could rest on the counter. "Orrr, you could have just stopped with the flirting right in front of her" was all he managed to send back, having to put his phone back down as Layla re-entered, starting up conversation. It took a good ten or so minutes to settle her back down to whatever she wanted to do, and he went back to the messages with a heavy sigh. "so will i see you again?" he sent, giving a faint smile to himself.

Trixie glanced at her phone as the notification went off, smiling and taking a moment to think before she wrote back. "Well yes, I could have, but then you wouldn't have my number" She replied, tossing her phone down beside her on the bed. She scrolled through her computer for a while before he got back to her, and she chuckled at his response. "Depends on whether you ask me out or not." She shot back, laying back on her pillows.

Yet again, Matt took a considerable amount of time to actually reply to Trixie, seeing as he decided to give Layla some amount of attention before she decided to go up to his room to sleep. It was around 40 minutes before he even picked up his phone, and he for some reason felt ever so slightly apologetic. He didn't say that, though. "i'm not asking you out" he sent, frowning at his own bluntness. Usually he didn't have this problem, he found it easy to sweet talk a girl. He had no idea why he was struggling so much this time. "but, i suggest you use psychic skills to find out ill be in the same coffee shop tomorrow at around..5pm?" he added, setting his phone back down on the glass table in front of him to carry on working on his laptop, which he had gone back to.

Trixie raised her eyebrows at his message, smiling as his next one came through and rolling her eyes. "Ouch. Alright then, I'll see if my psychic powers kick in by then. They might, they might not." She sent, tilting her head in thought. She could... not show up. But she did want to see him again. She also didn't want to seem desperate. God, romance was so confusing a week out of a coma.

Matt gave a smile at Trixies answer, replying almost immediately this time. "well let's hope they do then" was all he could think of to send back, and he did so before getting himself ready to finally sleep. He was exhausted somehow, in some slight pain and just generally..confused. The coma and meeting Trixie had messed him up slightly, and the least he could do was sleep it off for that night. After he had managed to actually get himself ready, he crept up to his room, stopping just short of the door. He thought for a couple minutes, before whipping his phone back out. "i'm sleeping now, don't miss me too much" was along the lines of what he sent quickly, before heading into the room to sleep.

"I'll try my hardest." Trixie sent back, putting her computer away and beginning to scroll aimlessly through her phone before his message came up. "That's a hard request, since I just always miss you. Goodnight." She shot back, hoping the sarcasm came across.
