Aria turned her head over carefully to look at Sage. "I-I got dizzy." She whispered with a scracthy voice. The only thing she heard the doctor say was that she should stay in bed for a while. She closed her eyes again and reached for Sage's hand.

Sage sighed slightly and watched the doctor leave, then he felt aria reach for his hand and he climbed into the bed, wrapping his arms around the girl. He'd been worried, and she obviously didn't feel great. "Well, you'll be alright," he murmured.

Aria's eyes fluttered open again and she grinned softly at Sage. Caroline reached for Aria. "Mama..." She cooed. Aria looked at Sage excitedly. "T-Thats her first word." The girl murmured happily.

Sage looked over at Caroline with a wide grin and nodded. "Yes, that's mama," he cooed, more than happy to have witnessed that. He handed the baby to aria and sort of just wrapped his arms around both of them happily.

Aria smiled weakly, holding Caroline in her arms. "Is everything okay with me Sage?" She asked. Caroline grasped onto Sage's finger and held Aria's hand. "She loves h-her parents." Aria grinned happily. She looked into Sage's amber eyes. Her dark blue eyes looked weak and full of pain.

Sage pursed his lips slightly and then sighed. "The doctor said you might be getting sick...he's not completely sure...but said he is sure you're not gonna die," he told her, hugging her a bit tighter. She couldn't die...he needed her. And so did Caroline. His mind ran with things that could help. More blood? Water? Medicine? He didn't know.

Aria nodded. "I need you too." She murmured to the boy. Aria ran her hand over Caroline's soft hair. She couldn't leave, not when she had a perfect little family like this.

Sage hummed softly and nodded. The doctor had said she would be alright, and he really did hop that the doctor wasn't mistaken.

Aria squeezed Sage's hand gently and grinned, resting her head back on the pillows. Caroline had drifted off, lying on Aria's stomach. Aria looked over at Sage. "It's going to be okay. I promise." The girl whispered to him, her eyes weak with pain.

Sage looked over at the girl and sighed heavily. "I certainly hope so," he hummed. She was obviously hurting, and he wanted to help, he just didn't know what to do. "Do you need anything," he asked.
