He stayed silent for a long while before finally answering "No.." Was all he said while gently leaning his head into her hand. Yes, he was being unreasonable and a baby about that whole thing but he somewhat had the right to be. "I'm sorry, I was just thinking" He commented queitly before lifting his head up to meet her lips giving her a soft kiss

Mercy pulled away and brushed the hair off his forehead, giving him a small smile. "You don't have to be sorry, lovely. I just want you to trust me." She said softly, leaning forward and kissing his cheek. "Do you have any other questions?"

Kennedy smiled back slightly at her "I do trust you, baby... I just overthink a lot and it might make it seem like I don't" He commented quietly as he brought a hand up to her face and gently brushed her cheek with his thumb. "Just, how much more time do I have before Xander comes to check up on you?" He asked before gently bringing her head down and burying his nose into her neck, breathing in her sweet scent

She tilted her head into his hand with a sigh. "I don't know, my love." She said quietly, closing her eyes and resting her head against his.

He sighed slightly "Guess I'll just enjoy this while it lasts then" He said quietly, giving her a quick peck on the cheek before letting her rest on his head. He closed his eyes and listened to her soft breathing as he held her close, not wanting this moment to be ruined

She smiled slightly at his words, moving to nuzzle into the crook of his neck. She gently stroked his face, taking him in. She sat there with him in silence, comforted by his wamrth and his smell, waiting until it would have to be ruined.

He leaned his face into her hand, enjoying her gentle touch. He slowly placed a hand on the back of her head as the other traced up and down her spine softly. He held her close taking in everything from her touch to her smell and everything small thing about her that he adored

She smiled as he stroked her spine, sotting with him for about fifteen minutes before she reluctantly lifted her head up. "Love, I have to go shower, but we should still have some time after that." She added, hoping to cheer him up and then brightening up a bit. "Or... you can come with me?" She purred suggestively.

He closed his eyes as he continued his movement, when he felt her head lift off him, he opened his eyes once more looking at her. At her words he frowned slightly before nodding "Okay, don't be too long..." He said quietly while slowly unwrapping her from his arms. When she brightened up though he raised a brow in confusion before grinning at her "I'd love to join you" He mused back at her

She smiled brightly at him and gave him a kiss, grabbing his hand and quickly leading him out of bed and into her bathroom. She turned the water on and let go of his hand, tossing the hair tie keeping her braid together to the side and shaking it out so it fell in soft waves. She glanced back at him with a smile and stepped into the shower, standing under the stream of water and closing her eyes for a moment.
